I have used these sets in previous shots but I never really took in depth pics of them. Video store is named after my boys. Thanks for looking!
I have really been debating at trying my hand at selling dios. Simple little display pieces at first on E-bay, see how they do. To be honest I am afraid to be let down. Put them up and no-one bid. I don't know....wierd.....Why are you not selling these sets?! I bet you could get some good scratch from them. The detail is damn nice.
We know the video store is a Cobra front though. People don't go to those, do they?
Both these buildings base is cardboard. I glue giant boxes that have been flattened on top of each other till desired thickness and put weight on them. I than cut them down to the largest solid rectangle I can get and use that. The theater actually has paper towels glued onto it. We had a brand that didnt have a girly-fufu pattern and I thought it would look cool. Both were finished off with Popsicle sticks. That's pretty awesome. What do you use for building materials for the buildings...I'm using the foam board Man Rex did the tutorials on, but it seems too thick for certain uses.
