Right on!

All thanks to your tutorial and a little research online.

The blood splatter was a bit difficult at first....until I found new brushes. I had to do a bit of trial and error to get the one muzzle flash and blood splatter to look like it was obscured by the walls. I then remembered copy and paste. Worked like a charm.

The front flash was a bit harder to get to look like it was blurry too...but I think I got it ok.

Not bad at all.
Blood splatters and the like are a bit fiddly. I usually experiment with layer opacity and Blend Modes until I find one that works - usually "Overlay".

For foreground and background blur, I sometimes use the Blur tool (teardrop-shaped tool, Ctrl-click on the finger-shaped Smudge tool if you can't see it) although you get more control with Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur.

Yeah, the blood is a bit 'fake' looking...

I will have to try other blend modes to see what I can do on other pics.

It's really not bad at all, though I think it could stand to be a bit darker...then you also have to consider light reflections in any kind of liquid...aside from that, I think the pattern looks pretty great...

I was looking for dio stuff in my storage boxes last night and found my custom 1/6 femfigs I'd made a few years back.
Here's one of them (along with 1/6 mini-me).
That's slick. Diggin' the self-custom too.

Here's another of my old 1/6 customs - Revy (Rebecca) from the Black Lagoon anime. I missed out on the Revoltech version when she was cheaper, unfortunately (she costs an arm and a leg now).
It was also one of my earliest attempts at sculpting hair and painting tattoos.
I misplaced her silver Berettas, so I gave her Desert Eagles for the photos.
I also made her holsters/shoulder rig from a leather-looking vinyl material.

The flower has a blank white backside, the 3 tiers on the pot have paints in them and the stem pulls out to reveal a brush.
