I love I-Gear, I really do. Especially Dirge, Thrust and Ramjet. However, I don't like the orange color scheme of the I-Gear Sunstorm, and find the Takara version more appealing for some reason.

Wow, I read the news that HasTak was going to make generations deluxe version of the wreckers that combined into Ruination... Impactor, Springer, Topspin, Twin Twist, etc... What could be better?! Super excited!
Then they showed the pics, and they are horrible repaints of cybertronian stick-figure bruticus. My nerd bubble just popped. It's like waking up next to a fat girl who's name you don't remember.... There are equal parts shame and embarrassment. I'm now doing the toy-news walk of shame.
I think about Eddie's comment the other day that if HasTak made combiners, that they would certainly suck. He was right. All hail Eddie. Thank heavens for TFC and the other 3P's.

Yeah, TC looks nice, but between the Tak version and igear version, I'm not sure I need another. Maybe on clearance.
On the other hand, that TRU MP-10... maybe it's just the pics, but that thing looks uber cheap, like it's made of the lowest grade mexican plastic. It just looks terrible compared to the Tak release. I'm sure it's not going to sell for $250 either, but it looks like hell. I hope it's just the pics or the glare or something.

If its not part of the MP line, it's most likely going to suck a$$...the main line is for cads that don't better...
Ehh, I prefer the color of igear TC much more...and I'm with nacho, that Prime does look cheap...like the box should say "for ages 2-4"...looks very playschooly
The irony is that TRU prime looks like a KO, while igear and others are producing stuff worth of it's TF namesake.
I finally saw it in person today. It does look cheap. Paint is too bright, and it's just toy-looking. I realize it's dumb to pay $200 for the MP-10 that I got, but at least it IS a lot less "toy" looking for that price. Sheesh.
I'll buy that OP if it's under $100 since I sold my mp1 & 2. Hasbro always releases the bright cartoon colored version. TC is the mp-11 mold which I know nothing about. Is he the same size as the other seekers?
Yeah, TC is the same, just with the tail-fin kibble improved (slightly different than the igear modifications) and a new face, maybe some slight differences on the weapons. It's just an update of the same old seeker mold, nothing radically new.
I might be interested in the TRU Prime as a base for a custom or two, but not as itself. It's just too bright and.... el cheapo (cue Bob Barker). The Tak version was $250, but TRU will be selling much cheaper I'm sure. But with the trailer, it's gotta be in the neighborhood of a c-note. I wish they were selling just the figure like they did with MP-01 or Rodimus. I don't need the useless trailer for a custom.

check this out...May not look like a classic G1 Reflector, but it's was cool in its own right...that's a robot in disguise if I ever saw one...

That's a sweet pic Brave...who's that above Soundwaves left shoulder?...Astrotrain?...and who's above Ravage?...I have no clue on that one...
On the toy it's really tan, not yellow. Even in the comics it's usually tan. Some of the 'toon episodes make it more yellow, but I suppose it can vary.
Yeah Brave, the dreamwave artwork was fun. I've snagged a few pieces of Pat Lee TF artwork for my collection. Good stuff.
The WWII TF/JOE crossover comic you turned me onto nacho is still my fave TF art...it's insanely beautiful...

Giant is nice, but herc is bigger... and Giant is not enough better, different, or special to make me want to fork over another $400. Plus, if TFC keeps making combiners, Herc is a better option so they are all in scale with once another.
I read tru mp prime is retailing for $100. Very doubtful I will be purchasing him unless he knocks my socks off in person.
The biggest thing that has me wanting to pick up green Giant is this all in one box set...
