I also wonder about relative scale. I assume TFC Aerialbots will match Hercules size-wise... but FP tends to be smaller. I hope they are comparable, because all of those together will make one hell of a display.

Supposedly, from FP, it'll be right around the Hasbro/FP Bruticus size, on the slightly bigger end...and you know me, the smaller the better for cars compared to construction equipment and planes..

I think I want to, to go with my MP-10. I hate the Spike that came with him.

Yeah, the original menasaur was probably 10", so this doesn't seem that much bigger. Cooler, yes, but not much bigger. FP just does smaller stuff in general. But you're probably right that he'll be closer to scale with CHUG Bruticus that they did the two limbs for.

Yeah, he certainly won't be that much bigger than the original, but he will certainly look WAY less goofy...and bot modes will be what you would expect almost 30 years later, AMAZING by comparison...
I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but I think the Stunticons/Menasor at the scale and articulation level of THS convoy Prime would be insanely awesome...hell, a whole line at that scale and articulation would be awesome...
As for Hercules, he's 12.5"-13" tall to the top of his head...more if you count to the top of his shoulders, and taller still if you put his excavator crane over his shoulder like you see in most pictures...

Yeah, THS Prime is about Revoltech scale. That's why I like those guys so much. Neat size, great articulation, and you know how I feel about alt modes (worthless). But yeah, a whole line of small, high quality TFs would be awesome.
Insecticons repaints and upgrades...seen em?...pretty freaking cool if you ask me...no idea if this is a fresh idea or a take on something existing in the TF universe

I saw this, but my interest will be proportionate to the scale. The bigger the better. CHUG size need not apply.
Here's a good Giant/Herc side by side...Hercs random purple sh!t really sticks out like an eyesore in a compareo pic like this, but boy is he massive...
It's hard to complain about either. But Herc's bulk just appeals to me. And Superion, assuming he's the same size as Herc, next to Giant will look really strange.

That's more money than I spent on official HasTak produts in the last year. If you take out the masterpiece figures, it's more than I spent on HasTak TFs in the last five years. I guess hastak doesn't want to be in the low-volume but awesome business. High-volume, kibble-laden, loose-ball-joint arms that fall off TFs are where the high margins are apparently. God bless asia and their indifference to IP law.

Yeah, apparently Hasbro doesn't get that if they make combiners, if a customer buys one figure, they are almost guaranteed 4-5 more sales...

The bots don't look quite as cool as the PE version, but I collect cameras too, so this was kind of a no-brainer for me. The camera mode is so real looking, if you ignore the exposed bits on the sides.
As for the combiners... Hasbro would find a way to screw it up. Even if they made badass new molds, they would do something stupid, like put out the figures in different waves so that the last wave never showed up at retail (MASS Device anyone?!), or shortpack one of the legs. It wouldn't end well, so I'm not surprised that they don't bother. It'll only work with FoC Bruticus because the designs are so bad that no one cares. Anyone that did care ponied up for the SDCC G1 colored version. Nostalgia's the only thing that could distract from the horrible designs.

The camera mode really sells that thing...I'm holding out for maybe a deco that makes the inside a bit more G1...if that never happens, I'm sure it won't sell out and I'll pick it up then, because we too are photo fanatics...we still get our pics printed and put into albums...so the TFC Reflector would look really cool with them...

Just got in Wu's Spike and Sparkplug. They're way better quality than that hideous thing that came with MP-10, and actually look a lot like the cartoon models. Even the eye paint is decent for the scale!

I spent some time today modifying the new G1-y forearms so that they'll hang under the treads instead of way far out from Hercs sides...I'll snap new pics of that tomorrow...
Here's a few pics...unpainted...straight outta the box...

Guy over at TFW did this photoshop...he made Heavy Labor (Long Haul) larger, which looks WAAAAAY better IMO...if you look at the other pic, you'll see how skinny Herc looks with the standard Heavy Labor

I got a shipping notice on my igear Ironhide and Ratchet. It only took 13 months, but I'm pretty excited about these guys...

Hmm, I can't remember if I ever preordered them from BBTS or not... Need to check. I was a tad worried they'd never get produced so I was hesitant with going with iGear on that one. After I see pics confirming scale, that's something I'm interested in getting because I've loved the sculpting all along.
Don't stand him on a slick surface like glass or wood or a smooth shelf...any kind of texture under his feet will work wonders...
The IT Alicon just got put in my POL today. I don't know why I really like all the Quint figures they put out. I guess it's because I know HasTak never will, and they all look really nice together.

Clearly your memory of G1 cosmos is a little fuzzy. That was the lamest toy ever. I think the igear version is pretty good. If they made his design radically different, the G1 fans would probably cry foul.
Alicon isn't cheap, but he's significantly bigger than a CHUG figure. He's bigger than igear Ironhide and Ratchet which are $120, so the Alicon price doesn't seem preposterous. But, IT items usually go on sale at BBTS periodically, and if they do, I'll grab a few more. For now, I'm good with the one.

Nacho, please post pics whenever you get in the iGear IH and Ratchet. I'm specifically curious to see him in-scale next to an Alternator (if you have them) and MP-10 or even the Alternities (not sure if you had those or not).

My MP-10 is in storage, and I don't have any Alternity figs, but I'll see if I can round up an Alt/BT or two for comparison's sake.
I'm torn on TRU-cracker. While I like the mold updates, and I think the color is better than the Tak version, I already have the igear repaint, and the Tak boxes are so pretty. I think I like the black boxes as much as the actual figures.
Wait, how poorly painted is the Hasbro TC? I saw him in person at SDCC and it didn't seem awful, but I didn't really pour over it...
