... Cobra forces move through the city, unaware of who watches their every move.

"Turrets down... now for the foot soldiers."

Thanks guys. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I need for better dio pics, since it's a completely different animal compared to light-box shots. So this "story" is really just me messing around with different lights and camera angles, etc. Thought I'd at least make something fun to shoot while doing so.

Anyway, the story will continue shortly!

Same here. I covered the wall behind my table with black facric, but it's not enough to do any wide shots or certin angles up close. It's like you need to have the entire room coverd with whatever you're using!

Exactly!...you either need to create a whole freaking city or get a monster backdrop...Rick has really mastered taking "outdoor" shots indoors...I think all of his are taken in his basement...

Bingo! - make a whole city :D. Well... at least as much as you can. Even with multiple buildings though, you'd still need to have an encompassing backdrop. You just can't get around it.

I plan on doing both. More actual buildings would be better, imo.

Fled hasn't got a whole city, but he's clever with angles and back drops. That's what ya have to be unless you've got the room.

True, which is what I'm forced to do right now. My biggest problem is getting the right lighting for what I want. That... and an extra set of hands would be nice.

Once I get a few projects finished, or near finished, I'll be making more full-sized buildings. Then it will get interesting, to say the least. I'll need a bigger table for one thing. 4x8, here I come!

I can get my wife to help on a few things here and there. Sometimes fine painting, and other times sewing.

Added 3 more shots. Getting any consistency with the lighting, shot to shot, is difficult though. Depending on the angle and distance, either I'm half blocking my ambient light, or Batman's cape is blocking it.

Oh well... still a learning curve I suppose.

Beautiful!...I'm not sure which I like better, the first where he's just jumped or the last where's he's just landed...

One thing I think would've been cool is if you had made Bats land on a trooper or two with boots to the face/head :D

All great shots and a sweet Batman figure. I have always been a fan of Batman.

You lost at Preditor :D

Even cooler posing on the new set...my fave two are the ones of him punching out the viper...the cape posing on them all is outstanding!

All sorts of great shots here! The posing of the cape is very well done and really conveys a sense of movement/action in the photos. I can't wait to see what you can do now that you have a better grip on the basics.
