Old man of the sea, Shipwreck

You might recall I posted asking about a Shipwreck like this a few weeks ago.

DG Shipwreck with Playmates Terminator Endoskeleton leg.

I removed the lower leg that came with the figure and used an extra leg I had sitting around so that I wouldn't do any permanent damage.

My take on this...
Shipwreck decided to get back to the one thing he loved most, the sea. One way to do this and still remain part of the Jow team was to tackle pirates around the Indonesian and Asian waters. Cobra often uses these areas to circumvent patrols looking for illegal oil shipments, so Shipwreck still has to take them on. Even though he lost his leg to one of Cobra's bizarre sea beast machines, he's more determined than ever to kick their ass. His leg was replaced with a top of the line robotic appendage, and while he doesn't need help, you will often find him using a Fijian war club as a walking stick...which he has used more than once in a fight. Across his back he carries a machete which he picked up in Nigera. It too has made itself usefull in a number of ways. On his shoulder is his pet monkey that he rescued from a burning Cobra island bunker, it is never far behind.

Very cool...though I think he could benifit from less stuff around his neck...but keep the monkey, that's the best part!...is the monkeys name "Paulie"?

Really? I thought all the stuff around his neck added to the whole "gone native" thing I was trying for.

The monkies name? I was trying to think of one but all I could muster was "Nakema" or "Bubbles". Maybe I should name it "Jack"?

Is Paulie from anything specific?

Oh, forgot to add that the idea for the monkey and the harness came from someone over on the tank.

I like the idea behind it, but unfortunately, plastic doesn't lay as well as stuff would naturally...

Ahh, I see what you did there.

The machete is the same one that came with Shadow Tracker.

Yea I was thinking some gray with the white to blend the brown in more.

I also thought of making him look more "sun burned", again, sort of like Quint from Jaws.
