OK - not sure if or when the boys will make their own accounts so thought I would at least make them their own thread.

My boys are named Luke (will be 12 in March) and Mason (turned 9 in August). Yes Star Wars influenced their names - Luke Skywalker and Mace Windu...

Anyway - they love Joe, Star Wars (less and less it seems), HALO (is huge currently) and Zelda...Luke loves to draw, Mason loves to make dio stories using my camera. (unfortunately not all the pics come out clear as he does a great job with posing and telling a story without words)

Luke and Mason wanted to make some HALO Spartans out of some of my fodder...I didn't have the parts they envisioned so the made some UNSC Marines.

Mason's Marine (Dad painted the helmet and mixed paint make the crotch match the legs)

Thanks...my youngest has a super long dio story I am working on posting...unfortunately the pics got out of order on Photobucket, so I have to rename them their with the right order...then I will post it here...It is super long so I may make it it's own thread and link it into here. :)

basically Black ink paint only. Using water the paint is thinned to give different temperatures (shades) to the color. Think of drawing with black chalk, but doing so with black ink. Other than the medium, only difference is one cant erase.

great drawing your son did by the way. Quite talented for his age. before you know it, he'll be good enough to do sketch portraits.

I see. Thanks. The Vegeta he drew by having print out a pic he found online....last night he drew some other DBZ guy by memory...I will post it once he has me scan it in. He usually has me scan his stuff and print out copies that he can give his friends. :D

Boy, Luke's improvement is awesome. His first few drawings you posted were good, next few were even better but this latest he has moved to a whole new level. Either you are teaching him great, or he is growing one heck of a good keen eye with practice.

Keep up the great work Luke!!! Keep the drawings coming!

The other day the boys and I worked on customs together - mostly parts swaps...but I had to add some paint to Luke's as he swapped out thighs and they did not match.

Come on gang - my boys ask me constantly "did anyone say anything about my custom". Think about how good you feel when people comment on your stuff...now magnify it a ton since they are only 10 and 12. :D
