Another SpecOps/BlackOps basic soldier. Not completely geared up, but a decent start.

Yeah... my biggest problem is getting/having enough of the preferred parts to make a squad of either of these guys. Ultimately, I'd like to have at least 5-6 of each. That's a lot of specific parts!

Ever thought about just using the DG cobra trooper? From what I've seen on the internet, the base figure would do great.

Thought about it for about 2 sec. Won't work based on the parts combo I'm using, and prefer.
The DG trooper's SE legs are too thin, imo. There's supposed to be a leg in those pants, and compared to the various arms, not proportioned enough for me. Sucks.

Desert Duke/Ripcord arms and hands
Shocktrooper complete legs
Dusty knees/kneepads

Quite the list of now rare parts, go figure.

To clarify - swap out the Dusty knee entirely. It's a standard leg design I've used for awhile.

The ShockTroopers legs have been used elsewhere correct?

As for the knees, quite a few figures come with removable knee pads, DG Shipwreck for instance...couldn't you just peg or glue those knee pads to any knee?

Or you could use the Retaliation RB knees and legs...though you'll have to mod a little like I did to make the knee function as a double joint...

As for the figure here, looks really good...though I do like the old color combo more...

Just as difficult, or expensive, to obtain right now. I'll have to wait for the movie shit, and stock up on Cobra invasion troops... sigh.
