I was looking at some PTE stuff that showed up and I'd be interested in buying some of the figure packs for some of the gear but I can't bring myself to buy bendy guns. It's unfortunate because some of them are really nice sculpts and scaled a little better than what we're use to.

Does anyone know of any methods of straightening these guns? I know that can be altered by heating up and cooling but I was wondering if there were any better methods.

Unfortunately the hot/cold method is the only one I know of.

You can try replacing the barrels and any other tube shape with bits of straight paper clips, tooth picks or needles (with the tip filed off, of course).

I've done this a time or two.

This actually might work a little better anyways as some of the guns have grotesquely huge barrels.

I've always found their weapons to be of subpar design and materials, so I usually toss them right away.

^^^This neither answers the question or offers any options.

I'd maybe try replacing the barrels and buffer tubes/stocks with styrene, for starters.

Nope, don't have to admit to anything. Trashing them is not an option to fixing bent barrels. It's only an option as to what to do with them reguarding keeping them.

You fail. :rainbow:

Only SOME of the designs are worth attempting a fix for. There are a couple standard M4 designs that aren't too shabby if you alter the foregrip and straighten it out.

Funnily enough, the earlier releases had less bendy/rubbery versions of the weapons.

If one of you master customizers were going to convert one of Falcone's Galils into a Micro Galil, would you just take the knife to it and super glue the shortened forestock on? Is there a way to strengthen it so that it doesn't break back apart when you try to pose a figure? Thanks

Seems right to me...though so does interchanging seen and saw in some instances, so I may be a poor judge of the correct way to use the english language...
