A few new pics of my updated custom Scarlett.

You may have a chance to win this figure in an upcoming contest.
Stay tuned. :)

You did a great job on that head. I wouldn't mind a chance to win her.

Dat Jaw.
Still the base body is ace and good colours and those guns. Want
Yeah, I'll need to sand down the man-jaw good.
The base body is exactly the same as Renegades Scarlett, and is one of the better female bods that Hasbro has released.

Love the behind the scenes shots!
Humvee weathering is superb
What the hell did you use to get the digital cammo!?

Thanks man! Did you mean the digital camo on Lady Jaye? That's the stock figure, I haven't modded her yet.

That's exactly what it is...flip up iron sights, red dot, grenade launcher, supressor...not sure what's in front of the red dot, maybe a light?
Looks like LJ went shopping with the Magpul and SOPMOD catalogues. :)

Man, I cant believe that Snake eyes shot and zombie shot were such simple setups. great lighting and phot sklls bro,.
Thanks bro!

Thanks. I have the same treatment in mind for LJ.

As for the contest, you gotta be in it to win it! :)

Finally had the chance to take some outdoor shots.

My 1/6 Power Team/World Peacekeeper "Ranger" and "EOD Technician" which I modified with leftovers from the ol' spares box.

Is it just me, or does the guy on the left look like a cross between James Hetfield and Joss Whedon? :)

My custom 1/6 Lara Croft.

Finally got the 1/6 Lara Croft I bought from Keenan:

Thanks, buddy!

First thing I did was transfer the Angelina head onto a Triad Alpha body for improved posability and a closer skintone match. I gave her my original custom Lara's outfit and gear to make Movie Lara:

I then put the Game outfit on my original body/head combo:

They look great and display well together.

Looking good!...though I think she'd look even better if you heat up that vest in front of a blow dryer and press it against her shoulders for a better tighter fit and then hold her under cold water...

I'm experimenting with medical "Micropore" tape, layered together and painted, to make my own vest and webbing.

Someone here (I forgot who, sorry) uses it for rifle slings, and I figure it's a good substitute for micro-canvas.

I know that stuff. Back during my highschool football years we would use it as "pre wrap" for wrapped ankles and wrists. It's extremely thin, seems like you'll have to layer it quite a bit

Four or five layers should do it, I think. I'm refining the paper pattern first.

I'd use hockey tape if I had access to some.

I actually used that vest on a LJ torso but cut it to fit better and did the blowdryer trick to it...it looks MUCH better with a tighter fit...I also cut those two hanging pockets off...I think you should work that one on fled...it looks really good fitted...

After going through this thread, the word "impressed" doesn't begin to describe my thoughts. Your eye for detail, the custom work (on figures, vehicles, diorama sets, accessories, lighting, photography, etc. etc.) you do, and your presentation is off the funking chain. I envy the harem of hotties you must possess, with your skill.
Seriously, very incredible work on all aspects.

Thanks man, I appreciate the kind words. :)
However, for every 1 good pic that I post, there are at least 5 (often 10) that are pretty bad. My hard drive is full of unused dio and figure photos that will never see the light of day.

Where did you get those destroyed vehicles? They are incredible!

They're tinplate display pieces like this:

I found some cheap ones, stuffed them with paper towels, doused them in rubbing alcohol and set fire to them. :)
I used a garden hose to put the fire out, then left them outdoors to rust the exposed metal.

The minstrel boy to the war is gone,
In the ranks of death ye will find him;
His father's sword he hath girded on,
And his wild harp slung behind him;
"Land of Song!" said the warrior bard,
"Tho' all the world betray thee,
One sword, at least, thy rights shall guard,
One faithful harp shall praise thee!"

The Minstrel fell! But the foeman's chain
Could not bring his proud soul under;
The harp he lov'd ne'er spoke again,
For he tore its cords asunder;
And said "No chains shall sully thee,
Thou soul of love and bravery!
Thy songs were made for the pure and free
They shall never sound in slavery!"

"The Minstrel Boy" - Thomas Moore (1779–1852)
