Seriously though, were you going for a skin-camo wash? That's what it looks like anyways. That vest isn't half bad, after that blue is gone. I plan on painting those stupid blue pads, myself... just not sure if I want to cover them with something or simply paint them.

On the face, yep. The fore arms were the result from being out in the field way too long.
And you can see the camo stripes on his face. I did them lightly to seem like they had been applied a while back.

The vest kinda blows ass. But cutting it just seemed too risky.
I intend to get another set for that exact reason though. Experimentation!
I'm waiting on an extra LL headsculpt to make a more realistic version of him. That gray snow suit can only do so much.
I'm using a modifed cast of the head and I'm not digging the way the boonie cap sits, and I can't figure how to get it to work. I also didn't realize how small a head sculpt it actually is.

I really like what you did with what you had...but I'm really not a fan of the armor plates though and plan to do what MR suggests below...the rest of that figure though, I really like...the belt and pants specifically
The paints look good. I was thinking, if you added a little green on the face it might help add to the look of it being camo make up.
I would like to see different legs, but I'm not a fan of them to begin with. I know you like them and in the end, you gotta do what you gotta do. I do love the color scheme and the idea.
