1:6 guys,

Any ideas for this:

I've had this SVD for years (fan of the gun), but don't have a figure to go with it. Now it's doubtful I'll be picking up a Sideshow Cobra for a good deal, and though I could probably kitbash a pretty cool owner for it that would cost mucho dinero. I'm at a loss as to what to do with it.

Normally I'm immune to people using the "r" word as an expression, but when they deliberately use it in that context (referring to the disabled in an insulting way) I feel my blood start to boil.
One of my kids has Down Syndrome, and if anyone were to say something like that to my face, I'd probably knock them out.

Anyone who reads my posts in this forum can probably tell that I'm a pretty laid-back, easygoing guy, but this is the one thing that I feel very strongly about and will speak my mind on.

Be kind to Danney though, he's new.. he didn't know. I think most of the rest of us know, and try to be as respectful as we can (which isn't easy, even for the best of us..).

There are ALL kinds of 1:6 figures that could utilize that gun. The question is, what type of figure you lookign for to use it? Special forces, Russian.

Dragon made tons of figures and really good ones at that. DiD http://onlinedid.com/ has a bunch too, but I never bought one to know the quality.

I wouldn't be going for historical accuracy. Like I said, I could bash a figure if I wanted to spend the money.

I'd want the best looking parts I could get, so 21st and most Dragon need not apply.

ebay has completely stripped down figures and parts for sale. find the figure/base you want and go from there. Lots of times, the stuff is cheaper that way.

Nah, no Rambo, and I've bought quite a bit from MD. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anything Post WWII I can use.
