Juggernaut WIP

[Obi-Shinobi]

Needing to make an updated Jugg for my MW3 line-up, I started by cobbling factory pieces together to get a good idea where this could go. Other than the AngelForge torso, everything else is Hasbro -

Of course not being satisfied with using factory parts, and the fact that it would not look anywhere near the character, I decided to sculpt various elements. Still more to add, but I think I'm off to a good start. You be the judge -

I like it! I've been trying to think of a decent way to make the armor for one. Then call it a Saw Viper!

The 1st version could easily pass for a SAW Viper I suppose. Put one together and see how you like it.

Don't see any on the MW3 version, so not sure yet. I did put it on my MW2 version though, so maybe I should go ahead and do it. Eh... there's time for that later.

I forgot they weren't on the MW3 version! Haha. I'm thinking of a way to make s really good EOD suit.

Gotcha. EOD? Well for starters, it's not what the Juggs wear. There's nothing tactical about an EOD suit, by any means. Purely protective, first and foremost.

Well I'm an idiot haha. I always thought Juggernauts wore a modded EOD suit. Forgive the brain fart.

Juggs are wearing armor plating, along with kevlar. More bullet resistant.
EOD suits would be more schrapnel resistant than anything else. Not meant to stop bullets, which is why they have to be "watched" for enemy fire.

There's a figure in "The Corps" line that has a similar outfit.

But that doesn't really help.

I don't know the game or the character, I like the design, looks pretty uncomfortable.

There's a new "cheap Joes" line at TRU, there is a guy in the set that looks similar to that character:

Might be worth looking into for those not wanting to sculpt a lot of body armor.

Yeah... saw those True Heroes guys the other week. Not up to spec for me. Too cartoonish, or maybe too o-ring ARAH styled.

If you guys don't want to do any sculpting, which is understandable, use factory parts like I did for my concept build. Once painted up, something like that wouldn't look too bad really.

Very cool concept. I wish I had more of those iron grenadier heavy flak vest, they would be perfect for this build.
