Maybe they'll make an awesome dino for Jurassic Park IV next year.
Probably not, but I can hope.
They'd ruin it somehow. The cool thing about the Lost World Bull T-Rex was that it could eat action figures, and looked cool. The 2009 one did not have either of these qualities. There might still be a chance for them to still do as you say, but my guess is that they'll give it an ugly asthetic and needlessly retool the sculpt and make it cost $60. That, or they will simply repaint the lame T-Rex from the JP III line and retail it at $40.
As much as I loved Jurassic Park as a kid, when Hasbro strangled Kenner out of existence, the toys got worse, and then disapeared. The JP III toys sucked in comparison to Kenner's work. Hasbro repainted them repeatedly for a decade in tacky color schemes. There is some hope that the old Kenner sculpts for the big rex's, Utah Raptors, or both Carnotaurus's to reappear, and there is decent chance that some more new sculpts will appear, but if I know Hasbro well, they'll cop out and repaint a ton of old stuff.
I mean, after all, how long has it taken them to make new Dinosaur sculpts? A decade. The human characters aren't even new! They're recycled GI Joes for god's sake! It has been a decade and they still refuse to make new sculpts for human characters in the JP franchise. I was excited by the news of these newer JP toys but a retrospective of Hasbro's actions in the past negate my enthusiam. It's not a super hero line so it won't last long before it's canceled and on clearance. I'll buy the Jurassic Joes when that inevitability comes to pass.
