Me too. I've been rewatching 200x and I just watched those episodes last night. That armor was terrible....

I'm just starting disc four, and I know it's the last...if it wasn't for the Horde stories, I'd just stop watching all together because I hate the He-Man snake armor so much...I don't really see the point of him being in any armor at all honestly...but Hordak really looks awesome in this series...quite a bummer it'll all be cut short...it really is quite an awesome toon...they did a great job of mixing it all together...

I thought the Snakemen story was way to drawn out. I like the Snakemen but they had far too much air time. Had the Horde been introduced I wonder if the series could have continued longer. Might have drawn some girls to it as well if they had She-Ra and co in regular apperance
Totally agree...too much Snakemen...or just not integrated enough...seems like there could've been a better mix of all the villains, together and separately...

So I just found out that Mattel released a modern version of the Slime Pit back in 2001 through the Harry Potter line.
Not sure how many of you are interested in that, but I bought one from Amazon since I never had the original as a kid.
Throw in some of the current TMNT slime easily found at TRU and WM, et voila, we're partying like it's 1985!!!

Snake man Slime Pit! This shelf warmed for years and I never realized it was such a rip off! How does it match up scale- wise with MotUC?
Ugh...just finished disc four and the final episodes of 200x...really wish I woulda stopped at disc three...I thought it was bad enough when he-man got that awful snake armor, but eventually almost EVERYONE get some sh!tty snake armor to some degree...and the Snakemen stories just keep, on, coming!...
By the last (39th) episode, you think the Snakemen stories are finally (again!) done and wrapped up...but there's a 40th episode in comic form...and guess what?...f*@#ing Snakemen STILL continues...UGH!...I am now genuinely happy that series ended...it's clear that they wanted to change the title to "He-Man and the Snakemen"...

The stupid drawn out Snakemen were most irritating because the Horde story was looming in the background...dumb a$$ rehashed in fifteen different ways Snakemen stories were getting in the way of what could've been some really cool new material with the horde...and I actually really like Skeletors gang and the Snakemen were even getting in the way of them!...

Well, to be fair, the Snakemen featured so much as the cartoon had to mirror the toy release.
Series 3 was going to also include the Snakemen, and also to bring back the Horde.
The whole Faker/ renegade Masters angle was going to tie up the season.

Haha, thanks...maybe that's my problem with Snakemen...I've NEVER cared for them...they do nothing for me...heck, I think I even liked the rock lords more
Heh heh heh...real snakes?...nah, I'm totally cool with them...had many pet snakes actually...caught tons of wild ones...never hurt a one of em...Snakemen figures/characters?...never gave a hoot...
Maybe that's why. You aren't as scared of snakes as most people, so they weren't an imposing villain. I agree, I never cared for the snake men (or Horde for that matter) nearly as much as good ole Skeletor and his minions. I know that they could only do so many shows about the machine/monster/mystical-artifact-of-the-week with that crew, but the snake people were second rate replacements.
They're just kinda boring to me...all snakes of some sort...ZZZzzzzzz...while Skeletor and friends are all different and unique...and while I don't know much about the Horde, (never watched much she-ra) I could see them being a fun group for the same reason Skeletors group is, uniqueness...
I didn't care for many of the characters but when I saw Rattlor as a kid I had to get him. Rattle Snakes were my favorite as I was fascinated by pit vipers at the time. I would always pretend that Rattlor had the heat vision from his pits and was always lurking around in the dark. That one and Tung Lashor were the only Snakemen/Horde characters I had as a kid

I did shit loads of work on my CoP today. Basically cut out all the wooden parts. This thing will weigh about a hundred million tons when I'm finished I think.

man, snakes was one of my biggest hobbies ever.. i'm glad i dont do it no more and finally grew out of it. i havent had a pet snake since 98?? i always wanted to get back into it, but i changed my mind, i spent my whole life having snakes and turtles. i'm just done with em. i'll still catch em if i cross paths with some, just to show off my herp catching skills and knowledge, but i let em go right after.
there was a time when i wanted to own a reticulated python. i think about it now and say why? what the fuck would i do with a snake that gets as long as my house? fuck that noise..
also, when i lived in florida as a kid i was all about catching gators.. i was so stupid, though, was totally prepared to catch anything i wanted and was equipt with the skills, it was just a foolish act.. anything could of happened to me along the banks of streams, lakes and swamps.

and i made money selling snakes to the skin head kids in the neighborhood cause they didn't know how to catch things.

Oh, yeah. The Slime Pit 2.0 was totally in part 3 in the Harry Potter series. You didn't read the references to Hordak, Grizzlor and Leech at all, did you?

Well he's growing on me Eddie. At first I wasn't happy but its mostly because of the joints. They were loose but I didn't have the paint issue (or lack of!). His left arm just swings to and fro, I might have to yank it off and add some filler to tighten it up.
Now as far as the sculpt and the rest goes, pretty damn nice! I never cared for the dial on the head and sitting here looking at it I might just have to pull the knob and fill the hole. I don't really intend on switching faces anyway but that damn zit really annoys me!
I'll admit, it looks pretty good sitting there. Pretty much complete now, I don't care for Mossman as I don't see a need for him since I never knew anything about him until 200X came along and aside from anyone else I'm thinking I done with released figures. As for what the future holds Probably Castaspella and if anyone asks why its to contrast my Shadow Weaver as both had that damn spell book. Other than that Mantenna is the only one on my radar for now.
