I thought BBTS always had them listed at september, so this isn't a big deal. I'll get them when I get them. Plus, I hope this means that they're just working out the bugs rather than selling us something half baked (sorry, no refunds!), and then releasing a 2.0 that fixes everything (MP-09 anyone?!). I've waited this long... another month won't kill me.

I'm just tired of fucking delays on expensive items. I guess I would rather have them delayed and right than early and wrong, though.

Between the Club taking their sweet fucking time with the FSS and shipping out, I dunno, everything late as fuck, and now this... At least I haven't paid in advance for any BBTS stuff.

MP-09 did suck. I still haven't transformed him, although I did manage to fix all the shit that was keeping him from even standing on the shelf.

OTSTSBNLWSAEDWE just charges me and sends the stuff whenever it shows up, and I'm good with that. I order stuff and don't give it a second thought, as I trust them to take care of it so I don't have to.

Do you ever find stuff that you bought and don't remember buying it?

I just found the TRU Encore version of Perceptor along with the TRU or SDCC (I can't remember which) reissue of Soundwave in my MP boxes. They were just tucked away in the corner. I do not recall buying those.

I've got a climate-controlled warehouse (10'x15') that's overflowing. It's everything I've accumulated over the last 6-8 years, and I'm just waiting to finish our new house (the eternal project) to go through it, sort, give to my kids, save for customs, display, purge, etc. I have no doubt that I will find tons of stuff that I had forgotten or don't ever remember acquiring.

I hope it's a fun thing. Going through that many toys that I liked enough to buy should be a thrill. It'll take weeks I suspect.

Yep, ordered the two cars this morning. And I really like how MM uses the trailer as part of his 'bot mode. I hate when he's a prime repaint or other nonsense. These are pure win.

so far, I'm liking the project, but I'm not super duper excited about it...but as far as Menasor goes, this will be the best by far for likely a long while...

Let's just hope that Tony at chimungmung will be carrying this. Apparently he got raided last week and shut down briefly over the sale of TF KO's. His store now only carries legit product, although one could argue that 75% of it still infringes on HasTak IP, but it's not direct copies that could be pawned off as the real thing. Fingers crossed.

BTW, if anyone has an extra MP-12 Sideswipe (with good paint hopefully) I've got a ton of good trade fodder (check my BST on HT). I'll do a one-for-one for the SDCC Starstriker if that floats anyone's boat. Otherwise, the clock is ticking on me being able to cancel the scalper-price one I reluctantly nabbed the last time BBTS but a handful back in stock.

Meh. Doesn't match the aesthetics of the other MP Cassetticons. What I want is a Ratbat, first and foremost, and maybe those combiner ones, but I want to see final product before ordering, even if they're $30ish.

I've got the KFC Squawkbox on preorder. At $35 it's cheaper than vintage and a hell of a lot better looking. I don't think it'll "fit" with MPs either, mostly because there's no animation model to draw from.

Speaking of MP cassettes, I got both sets in the other day, and the chrome was all nicked up on the Frumbles. Ravage had a nice little gash on one of this missiles. Buzzsaw had dodgy paint as well. I asked BBTS for an exchange, we'll see what happens. Sideswipe came in that order as well (hooray for overtime

) and had the unfortunately expected paint issues. I've seen worse, but I obviously wish I had been a bit luckier.

1st pic is TRU and third pic is Tak, correct? The igear version is brighter, almost like Dirge.

Right on both counts. I like the TT a little better, I just wish it had the con symbols and air show stripes. The Hasbro one is a bit of an odd duck, since it's the "wrong" blue whether you go by the toy or the cartoon, is covered in tramp stamps, and has the con symbols the wrong way on the wings.

I'm going to use mine as the blue Rainmaker (and Sunstorm as the yellow one). That way, I have the original 3 in MP-03, the Coneheads in iGear, and, after Acid Storm is released, the Rainmakers in MP-11. And then I'm done with seekers... until someone does MP-level Cybertronian tetra-jets.

I like the igear starscream and SW along with the TRU TC. Then the igear TC and sunstorm as rainmakers. I have little use for any of the original Tak seekers in the MP03 mold. Other than loving the packaging on my shelf, those just suck by comparison. I didn't buy MP-11 because I couldn't justify buying a third version of SS.

So other than the TRU TC, I pretty much prefer igear all the way. I think the two or three WM skywarps I have will get converted into purple seeker drones, and the original Tak seekers will just stay in the boxes.

I didn't know those were being made, but nothing there is registering for me. If it's a character that debuted after 1986, I have a hard time caring unless it has a heavy tie to the current comics or something.

Yeah, come out in '88. It was one of the last TFs I got as a kid (along with the Autobot cassette combiner, Slamdance). So it hits that nostalgia note for me, but those colors are way off.

I had the original as a kid and never had a Soundwave, so I'm sorta tempted to get them... If they're in stock at BBTS before I ship my next POL, I may toss 'em in, but they excite me much less now than when I first saw them.

I'm not gonna lie, I friggin hate Smokescreen's weird blocky head. That totally ruins the bot mode. And there is something far too simplistic about the front bumper. I think they missed some details from the actual real world car that he was based on. It's as if they decided to go 100% animation model rather than what the model was representing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a MP whore, and I'll be buying it. But this is a big letdown compared to the other two Datsuns.

That's actually really damn close to the real race car. Those front air dams from the 80s were super simple. I think it's missing a giant "Datsun" logo, that's about it.

What that ^^^ guy said...actually, a lot of race car air damns/splitters are still like that...aerodynamics stuff...look at nascar for example (yeeeeehaww!)
