I know you've had other issues Obi, but are we any closer to an exact date for this? I need to put in for time off in the next couple of weeks.

Thursday might be tough, but I can hopefully do Friday-Sunday. Need to start looking into hotel rooms.
If anyone has hotel recommendations, post them in here. Is there an address where this is taking place for reference?

Yeah... booking the hotel room is going to be the issue for me, as well as transport. Yes, I read your post Obi, and that's great if you can arrange for me to make it somehow, but I still need somewhere to sleep lol, unless I can carpool with someone that's going down and coming back each night. So if you did book a room at some hotel, please share what hotel it is so I can see how many more special sales I'll need to run to generate the funds for a room LOL

Heeeeck no. I have 2-3 people planning to stay at my house, but that's about it.
Event is at the Radisson Hotel, Camp Hill PA. There are other hotels in the area also.
If Stocos can't grab you on his way, I am willing to come pick you up. Check with him first, please.
Yeah I will check with him first and see if he's going, what days he's going, etc. I just checked out the hotel and that place looks like it's about $120 per night... yikes!
I may be able to get a slightly better rate, since I work there.

Looks like it might actually be cheaper to fly into Harrisburg (MDT) than BWI. At least from CA.
Yeah the rooms @ that hotel seem to be around $120 a night. A better rate would be nice
Sharing is fine too. Cutting that in half would help a lot. We can play with our toys all night long!

Yeah, spending $120 per night isn't really in my budget right now LOL. But if I could get the entire weekend for $180 I guess that is better... but still might not be in my budget 
Let's try to work something out. I'd like to see as many of us there, as possible.

priceline is the way to go, seriously. I use it ALL the time. I get 3 1/2 star hotels for $40 a night. Amazing what you can do with it.
There is a howard Johnson about 15 minutes away (7 miles) at $60 a night

Hotels seem easy, I'm seeing what I can do with airfare.. looks to be around $350-$400 round trip at the moment.
And then it's off to get approval from the Mrs..

Yeah. A couple of the places I looked at were across the river too. I don't want to be that far away. Just simplifies it all if I stay there.

It said it was a 15 minute drive, which isn't bad. I have no problem driving anywhere...but I like to keep it simple.
Yeah it'd be awesome to stay on site.. but a short drive or cab ride might be worth the savings. We'll see what Obi can get for his "special rate".

I'd like to go...buuuut...I don't think it's in the cards...we're going to Aruba sometime in September...our yearly trip...
But man, it's like the whole site is gonna be there...I don't wanna feel left out
