A little overboard on the rust on the first one, IMO, but the second one came out better... I think...
They came from one of those PTE sets I think. I'll get a figure for scale and snap a new pic or two....
Found this setting up my customs area. An 8 year old WIP, a project I was doing with Slayer Dave as a cast blank figure they could sculpt over then sell. Never panned out and then the 25th figures were announced and it was thrown in a baggie and forgotten.

Working on my Velma...made some glasses for her...I'm pretty proud of them being that I completely whittled them out of a piece of resin from a custom TF head...I still need to do some finishing on them...and they are fragile as heck!...I have to treat them like eggshell...
I'm using the ScarJo head, but not her hair...gonna have to tone down the slut red lipstick for use as Velma...

Nice work on Velma so far, Eddie. Not sure about the length/position of the skirt. The leg joints make it look like it's too short or sits too high?

Me? Looks like commissions will take up more and more of my time. Very happy about that, I now have to make a third Jedi Master Ven Zallow and a Twi'lek Jedi named Rachi Sitra. So yeah, Ulthane and the gang won't get updated for a while

It's funny you mention the skirt length...I've been thinking of cutting it off and trying a fabric skirt using Willoughbians rigid fabric method..just tying to figure out how to go about it AND have it look good...

Thanks...though again, fragile, as, hell!...I coated them in superglue to try and give them I bit more strength...for a bit, the glue created a film in the frames giving them lens...it was the coolest happy accident...they dried hard and they were perfectly see thru...but overnight they musta dried more and there were no longer lens when I woke up

hell yeah. Cant wait to see a finished product. Those glasses came out sweet!
You could try and cut out the glasses from a blister pack. Then use a permanent marker to colour the frame. Just a thought.

Regarding the glasses, there is a modeling product from Microscale called "Micro Kristal Klear" (http://www.microscale.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=MI-9) that is perfect for making lenses.
You'd likely need to iron and sew some pleats.

You probably want to go with a box pleat. You could use superglue to hold them in place instead of thread.

I was gonna use my spare BW head and X-23 legs too, but I might try something else for the glasses.
My plan is to go for the box pleat...but I have a different idea on execution...testing that is days away though...
The ones I used are Medusa legs...maybe they are the same?...wish they were the thicker She-Hulk mold...I have plans for two different leg set ups...we'll see...

I think all the MU hoes use the same legs save for She Hulk.
