I used to have one for a COMPLETE disassembly of the figures...the person that was creating them with my pics never finished them...I'm not sure i still have the pics either

I have successfully cracked several backs through the towel and vice method but yet to put them back together lol

Oh... I meant I haven't put them back together as in terms of customising figures. I cracked a few to create new figures but got carried away with other dio creations.

I get too damn impatient some times, so when I need to remove lower arms, feet - I make a cut into the limb to remove it. Later, I just glue the little cut back together.

Sometimes you just don't want to get up from the table, you know?

You don't have a blow dryer at your table?!...it's like a necessary customizing tool for me...I snapped way too many pegs in the past being lazy...I took my wife's spare to use permanently...that think and the Dremel are just an arms length reach away...

How would one go about removing the metal hip/leg pegs to use on another custom?

I bought a torso from AF & have no idea where I can get the metal piece other than a spare figure.

Anyone had any success with the vise method of popping Retaliation-forward torsos? I mashed the shit out of a Rockblock torso, and finally said to hell with salvaging it, since I just needed the arms… But that rubbery-ass torso was simply destroyed using the vise.

I've not heard of a successful one. Probably need to cut the seam on them now.

I took apart a couple of ultimate Dukes using the adjustable wrench method. Worked fine.

I chopped the Ultimates open with a blade. Was quick and easy.

I used a pair of large Robogrips on an Ultimate Duke and opened it right up.

The softer torsos required the use of a blade, but the more resilient ones, the vise worked fine.

Throw them in the freezer for a couple hours first.
