I do like the Pmag with the pull loop and the AFG which I will no longer have to cut off retaliation weapons...

Haha, why am I not surprised :D

It's nice, I'm not denying that, but it seems kinda redundant since there's nothing wrong with Hasbros...and who's to say a fictional gun is oversized or not?

I was expecting it to be highly detailed, and it may still yet. But looking at the latest pictures is looks exactly like Hasbro's, so yeah redundant. Is it modular? That would help it out. As far as it's usage in my Joeverse, it's the standard issue Joe weapon. But I don't use it as a laser rifle, I use it as a standard conventional rifle with the magazine in the pistol grip like the Beretta Cx4 Storm.

Still don't like the MP5. Just... too much going on there.

I do like the Pmag with the pull loop and the AFG which I will no longer have to cut off retaliation weapons...

Apparently the rifle magazines are going to have some interchangeability in this series. Which means you could theoretically load the G36 with the PMAG.

Oh yes.

Modular would be pretty neat...still would rather use something reality based though...

I asked about this a while back. If memory serves, the short answer is "No".

Barrel on the FAL is way thick.

Wonder why the hell they went with an 1887 Winchester lever action...

Oh yes indeed...buying extras would be cool to load up custom vests and pouches...

It woulda been neat, but I still would have no interest in them...

To equip Wild Bill?...that's all I've got...

More like a bunch of third-rate Terminator customs. Equipping Dreadnoks, too.

I guess I'll go back to waiting for an M97 or Ithaca 37.

Really low level.

Still, makes more sense than the MP 40 and laser rifle we didn't need.

More delays.

From Book of Face:
Dear MGR Supporters,

We reviewed the 3rd set of tooling sample test shots for the new items. The production tools have been modified to make the majority of the required changes we found after reviewing the 1st & 2nd tooling test shots. There are still several issues that need attention after reviewing the 3rd tooling test shots, and we should have the majority of them corrected within the nex...t week. While the "feature & function" issues are proving a challenge, the BIG issue is the TIME it is taking to correct the production tools.

We built in some "extra" time to avoid any potential delay issues, but the tooling adjustments have exceeded even our most generous original time table calculations. As mentioned earlier, the "actual" time it takes to produce the items from the production tools is relatively short. Unfortunately, due to the time it is taking to correct the tools, we lost our production appointment at the factory that will MAKE the new items. We had to reserve the current August factory production time several months ago for the new items. Since the tools won't be ready to ship to the production factory to meet our August reserved production appointment, we have to make another reservation at the factory to produce the items. The issue is the EARLIEST available factory production appointments are 4 to 8 weeks LATER than our currently reserved time. So instead of a late August avail, we're looking at an end of September to mid October avail. Needless to say, our disappointment is beyond belief and we deeply apologize for he delay.

For those that participated in our Kickstarter events, we sent a special email with info specific to your situations.

Again, we are sorry about the delay.
Sincerely,
MJ

Posted all over:
Hey Folks!
Here is the "official" update on the New Marauder GR Series #7 matte black version release date. The items are due to arrive within the next 2 weeks. We will first process, pack & ship the Kickstarter pre-orders. Once those reserved orders are shipped, we'll make ALL the items "live" on the website.

Thanks again for your support!
MJ

Oh yeah, the laser rifle that Hasbro already released with every other 25th figure. :whatever:

Was there seriously demand for that?

I'm definitely calling bullshit on people wanting that damn gun. It looks no different then the one already sitting in our fodder boxes.

There is one weapon that is getting me moist, a in scale ACR!

That shot gun would look nice on a custom T800... hmmm....

You realize that's the only reason that gun was made? Wait, wasn't it in one of those dime-a-dozen FPS games? Yeah, I remember, now....

They fucked up the FAL barrel. Ya reckon I can find a semi-correct diameter of plastic rod so I can get rid of that stumpy abortion that's on it?

These are all gripes I made back in July. Christ, I wish we could have gotten that gun project off the ground.

This comment makes me so so sad for the community :(

Pre-production demand doesn't equal the same demand when it's available. Otherwise, Skystrikers and Eaglehawks won't be clogging TRU shelves. He'll be overflowing with them and his fans could have gotten something better.

Part of me thinks it's an intentional filler so that the GOOD weapon that would've been used in that slot can be saved for wave 8...not necessarily to be malicious, but just a part of business, I guess...

I'd buy that if there wasn't 120 years of modern warfare to draw subjects from. Or perhaps they are that shortsighted.

I need to amend my comment. I said 120 years of modern warfare, but assault rifles/battle rifles in the assault rifle format didn't become the predominate infantry arm until the 1950s, and we know how scurred they are to do weapons without pistol grips.....
