^ the lack of Joints on that Raptor... maddening.

I swear, the next JP film better bring all the dinosaur toys with glorious articulation else I'll... be disappointed.

Yeah, the good ol' hot glue method.

For someone that doesn't like the character I sho do have a heap of CCs.

SLITHERING!

I got him because he's gotta be close to 1:18, has a great paint job and his mouth actually moved unlike most of the figurines out there. It's a damn shame they his front arms don't move at the very least. The T Rex and Allosaurus were even more beautiful, but woefully undersized.

In point of fact, the Velociraptor was the size of a turkey. What we have here looks somewhere between Deinonychus and Utahraptor.

You know, as a child one of my favorite dinosaurs was Deinonychus, second only to T-Rex. I think that Dino-Riders had something to do with it. I was probably the only child in my entire theater going "WHAT THE FUCK IS A RAPTOR? THAT'S DEINONYCHUS!" when I saw Jurassic Park for the first time.

I guess "raptor" sounds cooler, but still... For a film that was fairly accurate on dinosaur appearances for the time it was made, they really bugged me about that.

Deinies ain't Raptors.

http://jurassicpark.wikia.com/wiki/Deinonychus

"At the time Michael Crichton wrote the first novel Deinonychus was included in the Velociraptor genus. The type-species Deinonychus antirrhopus was sometimes called Velociraptor antirrhopus. This reclassification is mentioned by Alan Grant in the first novel...

Because Deinonychus was classified as a Velociraptor, the raptors from the three films were based more on Deinonychus than Velociraptor, probably because Deinonychus was much larger and thus more dangerous."

You should work on some Jay and Silent Bob customs for the Quick Stop, Medd.

Then zombie them.

Right! I am thinking about Mewes and Smith. I got the jacket from the IM2 Fury that came with the TRU Drones set aside for Smith. Bout as far as I have gotten. If you have ideas for heads for them, please let me know. I'm horrible at picking them.
