Yeah, I can't sculpt to save my life, and this isn't the project to start on. I'll have to file it away for a later date, see what parts become available.

Ok getting away from the desert and moving into the jungle. The Freedom Crusades will venture into South America.

A few quick shots using my newly arrived MH-60

This is a custom that I've wanted to do for a while and is actually pretty simple. The body and upper legs along with some detailing are all that really need to be painted. I will be cutting the sides of the should guard as well as opening up the middle of it a little more. I'm waiting on the head pictured from Broken Arrow.

If my head shows up sometimes this century I can finish this figure.

Concept prototypes for some taliban which i am calling tribals as a generic opfor type. Head is a five cent stopper with paint for eyes and wrapped in black or white hockey tape.

Workin' on the 1:18 Chalice of Kali, and I'm wondering what I should do with the "eyes".

On the prop it looks like one eye was put out, while the other looked like the lid was closed over the eyeball (which we know is unpossible).

The little one two distinct lil' eyes, and I'm thinking of making them into "precious stones.

What is that base made out of?

The WW II Paratrooper Mohawk guy. I wanted to still keep the look similar to my Spetznez/OWA soldiers in Green digital and big round helmets but still give him a touch of future with current and past. Good or Bad during the Crusades you get what you can from where ever you can.

Working on a flag and specOp logo in the patch for my OWA forces.

I think people want to know what the base dio is made of... not the base figure for the custom, although that is great too.

Ahh, a piece of 12 x 12 tile from home depot. I'm a pavingstone installer and figured the tile isle may have something interesting. I found a keeper. perfectly scaled.

Not really sure where to go with this. He's been sitting in a bag like this for months. I was going for a dark Micronaut time traveler...or an anti-time traveler, or maybe a necro-traveler. Anyway, I dremeled down his chest a bit to make it flat to accept a "chest-plate". My biggest problem is that when I was removing some paint, the thinner I was using melted down the front and the back a bit, and that just threw me off completely.
Also, I tried dying the body black for a tinted/smoked look, but it only took to the arms and legs. I suppose I could use a car tint spray paint, or maybe some stained glass paint to get the torso to match.

Perhaps I should just go ahead with my original plans, install a chest plate, paint the head and hands GITD (for that other worldly look).

Thoughts?

Maybe try grey sun catcher stain?

Just filled the holes (heh heh) on PoC CC's legs, they'll go to paint tomorrow. Gonna do a tiny bit of paint work for the custom they're for right now.

Eddie, where are the arms from? I bought the sweater-mini skirt body from stocos, but I don't have any sweater arms to go with it so I have no used the body yet.

I'll take that as an indirect compliment :D

I sculpted the sweater texture onto some trimmed down Joe arms...also added the double elbow...I'll have better pics tomorrow...

When I ordered the torso, I knew I was gonna have to learn to sculpt, unfortunately...I woulda preferred some off the shelfers...
