Need to realize also, that this isn't a figure anyone can simply reproduce from various, existing parts.

I said yes...BUT, only if it's a quality, playable figure...meaning the cast materials aren't going to break...I know some cast materials can be fra-gee-lee...and unless they are gonna be made of the more softer kinda plastic (like Hasbro uses) I don't want a joint/pin area to break if I bend it to it's limits...
Agreed. I'm meeting with DW this weekend, and will have samples to play with. I'll take pictures and let you guys know how everything "works".

$50 is reasonable, given the fact that I've seen a few crappy Joe customs on eBay going for 3 or 4 times that amount.

And it definitely needs to be playable...I'd hate to pose it or let the kids play with it and have a knee joint just snap off.

I voted yes based on a certain Castor selling their figure kits for $65 and those aren't even assembled/ painted, dont come with a stand and having to wait a year+ to actually receive them.
We're going to investigate the cost for all our international brothers to provide the cheapest option possible, while ensuring that the figure will arrive in the condition it leaves us in.
I'd love to see it come in for less, but $50 is reasonable (as long as the wife never finds out 
) for something as semi-custom as this. Being from the lush East, I'd love to have the option of getting more of a Woodland Marpat (if even partial) or OD option for the coloration. That would definitely seal the deal for me. Will these be numbered?

I think they should come hand numbered by obi himself and keep tabs on who gets what number that way we can see who scalps the shit out them on eBay and then we can give them hell until they crawl back to the stank...
