You mean the laces on the faulds (skirt panels)? Not too bad... took about 3 coats each (everywhere) to get the blue to stand out enough.
And I did mod the torso a bit to enable some form of 2-handed sword holds. Not as much as I'd like, but maybe on the next one I'll go a little more extreme.

Wow! Awesome. This is a budo figure? Ill have to look it up. I just sent the SDCC exclusive fig to Justin since he's a transformer guy.
