Ridiculous in a good way. I think if you can pull off a seamless looking fit with the forearms to the upper arms and get a good paint job on them, it'll look pretty good.

Ridiculous, and not in a good way. I understand wanting to do the retardedly oversize forearms, but Hulk ones are a couple of exits too far.

For the record, I'd buy the fuck out of a figure based on that Popeye art.

They aren't even pegged in yet...I just have them laying underneath for a test look...but yeah, getting a good connection would be top priority and maybe even some sculpting near the joint to get a more blended look...flesh paint over the green would be the tough part...stupid paint rub!

I was kinda thinking "too far" also, but then looking at the art, it's not that far off...though, I guess the base body on the art is much more buff...but I also wanted to keep the classic Popeye look of ridiculously skinny body with monster forearms...

Unfortunately I think Hulk is gonna be your only real option outside of sculpting them.

I tried some Retaliation RB forearms, but they were too small for what I'm going for...Hercs, even if they didnt have the gauntlets are also too small...I'm gonna have to keep looking, or just make due...

Eddie, I might suggest using the upper body and upper arms of a RB figure and either Hulk of Thor Destroyer lower arms.

Problem-using a RB upper body you will lose the collared shirt with buttons on the front.

Too bad the Professor X head is too small for any of the muscular bucks to pull that off. May still get a custom out of it, though.

I'm with the "ridiculous, not in a good way" team here :) Is every set of MU Hulk arms the same size? Maybe there's a Hulk with arms that are just a tad smaller?

Otherwise, you might want to consider using a different (shirtless) upper body. Maybe that MU Hercules?

That Popeye render looks killer, it just screams for a custom figure to be made :thumbsup:

The ones I've used are the smallest..the others (which are all repaints of the first version OR have armor on) won't work at all...I really want to go for the classic scrawny Popeye...

Pffft...no need to apologize to me...I'm the worst offender...I never learned how to type without looking at the keyboard, so I make tons of typos and am too lazy/don't care to proofread...this iPad has no physical keys, so if I think I hit one, but I actually don't, I don't know it and keep going...if it doesn't auto correct me, well, fogg knows all about it ;)
