Working on another one of those "Crimson Twins using MU Xavier and Tomax/Xamot heads" but I'm using the Spy Troops twins heads instead of the 25th. They look more clean cut and business like. Or mafia boss. Either or.

Will have some pics up shortly.

Can't wait. If I'm honest this is somewhere I'd prefer an ARAH homage. The 25th heads were meh (and that's being generous). I really wish there were a smarmy, 1980s Ken doll hairstyle head, I'd maybe do twins myself, then.

I really like the concept Monte Williams laid out with his Winchester LBC: A 19th century adventurer/explorer.

I was thinking similar to the character Allan Quartermain, but with notably less noble intentions. Drinking, carousing with native women and a healthy streak of self-interest will be involved.


All that said, it's really just a couple of accessories, a head (that Prof. X cast with the 'stache) and a dream. I know what I want to do for the legs (Roc Destro thighs with Retaliation Storm Shadow lowers (yeah, right, I know), but other than that it's up in the air what will happen.

Nope, the Ultimate one has wrapped legs. I'm going with the puttee look, and while I could use a 25th ninja I want to go with the better parts.

Never seen Archer but from the tv spots it looks like they took James Bond, made him an American and turned all the typical male stereotypes up to 11.

It wouldn't be wrong to say my idea is kind of like that.

Hmmm, RoC Destro thighs...that's the version with the almost SS looking suit with the popped collar, right?

Thats the one. I built my custom CC off of that buck. I think he's underrated in that respect. Nerds rage at him because movie accurate Destro was a fucking con exclusive.

I have to check but I may have one of them. If not, I have the POC version, I believe it's the same but black.

Positive they're not the same. Check the side by side comparison photo with the 25th in the link I posted. The Resolute version is meatier and has better feet too. Take a closer look under the knee.

Well I'm not gonna be using the feet so that's unimportant. They're different, but they're not better than USS's

About the only downside with the USS other than availability is the rocker ankle not being compatible with the feet I have in mind.

Ton of stuff in progress. I just finished Leatherneck and Gung-Ho but haven't had time to take pics yet. Now just part swapping for my next piece. However still a ton of figures waiting for that final piece whatever it may be to call them ready for paint. :p
