Working on an Ikea Vittsjo conversion to display my Hot Toys Batpod.

Test fit on the painted trim. That paint doesn't want to stick the aluminum.
I'm also going to have to switch out the bolts to flatheads to make them flush fit.

Thanks, it is nearly done. It's a nice easy project. I do need to figure out some lighting.
I really hope they do a HT Cobra Commander, but I am not holding my breath. They do have hundreds of Iron Men to make I guess.

I got a great deal on some 1/6 Matty Ghostbusters figures. My plan is to trick them out. First up body swaps with some body's I got from the Chi Comms.

That's really cool. I was thinking about upsizing the 1:18th version, but this looks like it works just fine. It was the one feature missing from the SSC version.

He is a great figure. I would put him as my 2nd favorite SSC Cobra behind Zartan which remains the pinnacle IMO.

If you wet down doll clothes they will drape more naturally and fit like they would on a real human body instead of being all stiff and bulky looking.

I got my custom Ghostbusters sculpts in today and started working on Ray.

I think Egon's height looks good

Note how Winston's water treated jumpsuit looks compared to Egon's which isn't.

The paint just looked too much like spray tan, so I knocked it back with a paler wash. You can see the result on Egon vs Peter.

Much happier with this result.

You should be happy- looks really good. Can't wait to see the eyes. I actually enjoy painting them much more than in 1:18th scale.
