Great? It's awesome if you want to do comic Aries, not so useful if you want to do a Spartan.
I said Spartan, not that homoerotic comic/film fantasy..
What a gorgeous head sculpt!!
YES! I CAN FINALLY FINISH MY PEGGY BUNDY CUSTOM!!!!
That head looks like the black chick from Conan the Barbarian
Had some time (finally) to work on customs tonight, so here's a WIP for one of my HeroQuest figures for this weekend...

Fuck me....Drop sent me a set of pilot Scarlett legs, but I didn't realize they had those damn SW knees.
Dam you! That's so much better than what I'm working on. (Goes back to the drawing board to rework custom games entry.)
(Nice job!)
I think I gave one of the Henry Sr books to Fogger.
That looks awesome. Check out the dollhouse section for some small scale books. I bought some in a tiny book rack for my ML figures, which would be slightly oversized for 1:18 figures but might work just the same.
Or, there's always the books that came with Henry Jones Sr and Ash... maybe I should cast those.
Ash's Necronomicon would be nice to have, too.
Books should be pretty easy to make...get some thin off white foam for pages and make the book covers out of thick card stock colored any color you want...
Not sure if it's what you are looking for, but Playmobil has books.
Books wouldn't be that tough to make, in theory. You wanting ones with working pages, or just solid props?
I actually know how to bind real books. I haven't done it in 10 years, but I had a book-binding course in college where we had to design, then print the pages, cut them, then bind them using fabric/paper covers and the tiny cloth strip (I forget the terms all the pieces are called) and everything.
I'd imagine you could make 1:18 scale books using the same premise? They'd be tedious, but worth the effort. You'd just need to use very thin paper, like tracing paper or some very thin drafting paper, me thinks, and something slightly thicker for the actual covers.
I have thought about using Playmobil accessories, actually.
I'm perfectly happy using static books, but when you need to fill shelves they need to be cheap and plentiful.
