Eww. No thank you, Galvatron is one of my least-wanted MPs, and I'll ONLY be buying it from Takara or not at all. If he's never officially made, I won't be too upset. I never liked the character or his design.

Huffer looks cool...and I know he was shown smaller than the others, but it can't ever be cool with a truck being smaller than a car...

Yeah I assumed that Huffer was a major fly in your scale-pie. But he really does fit *reasonably* well given the G1 sizes of his different modes.
It's the alt modes that concern me most (have I said that before?

The mini-guys are ones I don't much see being priority for HasTak to make, but they've totally blown any expectations I've had lately so who knows.

Looks like the "gunmetal" color is a tad smokier/champagne than the original test shots of the proto, but I think it actually makes it look less toy-like. It could just be the lighting, but it's odd that the silver weapons don't pick up the yellowing.
People at other sites are bitching that he doesn't have the black hood like in the cartoon, but he does. The gunmetal/gray deco runs down the typical "pinstripe" line and breaks to black for the hood/roof. Also, the plastic for his hands is flatter, and not metallic, but I'm fine with that. I'm so tired of paint rub, and I'd rather his hands be a matte plastic than silver that chips.

I like it. The color is better than straight-up whiteish-silver. Like you said, I think it's closer to the real-world color combo. As long as it doesn't creep into the "gold" realm, I'm good with it.
Of course, the eventual TRU-exclusive-that-no-one-can-find version will probably have a more toon accurate deco for those who are unhappy about this particular look.

Yeah.... I'm in the boat that says that TRU may not get the cars. With Soundwave and Prime, you've got zero licensing, and they're big sellers. Same with the jet mold (er, aside from that neon nightmare Rainmaker). TRU would sell them for much less, and they would likely be plastic (not painted as nicely as Prowl/Sideswipe). The only upside I can think of (besides Stateside availability) is that they'd fit more to a case and have more to sell.
I think the naysayers may be right considering the licensing debate over on the TF boards. I could be wrong, I was totally not expecting to see licensed cars make it into the Takara lineup, so who knows.
I just can't wait till we get a few more Autobots. As much as I love Sideswipe (and Red Alert) and Prowl and his Z-siblings, getting "one-offs" like Bee, Wheeljack, and Ultra Magnus will help them not look like an army of clones.
I gotta say though, Prowl is fucking amazing. Sideswipe is fantastic, but besides MP-10 and Soundwave, so far Prowl is just a joy to hold. They've just about got the kibble solved with these guys now. Give them a few more molds, and it'll just impress us even more.

Just saw the in-hand pics of Bluestreak, and damn do those shoulder cannons look cheap as fuck. They should've been a darker plastic or painted silver, but not that weird champagne-gray plastic color. I immediately went to eBay and bought 2 sets of the chrome missile launchers for $30. 
I know Dr. Wu will likely have some sort of versions out at some point, but I like Prowl without his, and Smokescreen has his unique cannons, so at worst, $30 ain't THAT bad for official ones, I guess. Moving at an impressive rate, although not fast enough for me. 
But at least they're picking up the pace to a rate that I'm happy as hell to see. So far this year I'll have gotten like, 5 or 6 large MPs, and then the cassettes? That's damn good.
I want them to make the Ark crew plus their repaints, and Tracks (I think he was season 2? and I could do okay without the mini-bots other than Cliffjumper and 'Bee) and the Nemesis crew, and then anything else is just icing on the cake. I'm pretty sure that's their goal at this point.

What I really want to see tackled in the MP format is a combiner...
I wanna see an MP Combiner, but they need to get more regular ones figured out first. I don't want to waste 2 years waiting on 5 or 6 robots to be released, and I sure as hell don't want to pay for one big combined form all at once (the box would also be absurdly large, so I figure they'd stay away from that, too…)
I think they'd all but HAVE to do Devastator first, but maybe I'm just biased. That's one reason I want the Dinobots, but also sort of hope they wait and do others first. Things like Seekers and Z-siblings, they can pump out fast with slight mold changes, because it's literally the same figure.
Dinobots or Constructicons would SUCK waiting on getting all of them to complete the set. At least with the Dinobots, you could display them together and they'd still work (although we need a 25% bigger Grimlock if they're gonna do all of them, and that's another issue/discussion entirely) and folks may only want Snarl, or Swoop, etc… But NOBODY wants 1/6th of Devastator. The Constructicons had zero personality by themselves, so it's all or nothing.

I think I'm in the minority where my favorite combiner is probably Piranacon, but I'm sure that one is even less likely. Slightly above 'Not a chance in hell' for ever being produced.

Tracks' head is ridiculously large, if I remember correctly. He'd be grossly out of scale.
But as far as accurate vehicle modes go, at least Tracks and Hound are the right vehicle. They're two of my favorite Alternators, right up there with Mirage.

Unless Hasbro's making an MP-11-based Skywarp, they can fuck off. I haven't bought anything TF from Hasbro since the Alternator line besides one Universe figure (Hound) and I wasn't impressed.

I don't know anything about the character, but this figure is freaking cool as hell!...guess he's a headmaster for Fort Max (I don't even know who that is) and the head for the figure is a headmaster for the figure itself that can drive the alt mode!...the treads on the figures back just look ridiculous awesome!

Cerebros was the G1 headmaster for Fort Max, and Spike I believe was the headmaster for Cerebros. This one serves the same function, but can become the head on the vintage G1(or reissue) Fortress Maximus, as well as function as Fort Max on his own.
