Yup ^^...I won't even make a custom if I can't get the joints in the right color...I don't want a figure I can't move out of fear it'll look like a$$ or one I have to repaint if I do move it...

Yeah, I've heard everyone praise how they can cure that but I've just said fuck it and only use joints that match damn close to what I'm painting.

I think they lie about "curing" it. Possible to minimize, sure, but unless you're using factory paint (and I've seen that shit flake, too) I ain't buying the durability claims.

I've taken to slicing joints with the exacto. Makes it much easier than finding the colored joints and etc

I generally sand the knees and tops of the thighs.

Cased a PoTC flintlock pistol for uses as a prop. I'm thinking I need to pop the "glass" off and fill the gaps up with Milliput, then change the bedding to red tissue paper.

I've tried sanding joints, dremeling them down, painting and sealing - every method I've heard of I've given a try. Very little luck on that.

Not new or really "on my bench" at the moment, just some heads I painted. Marvel Legends unmasked Deadpool and some old SDS/Angelforge(?) zombie heads.

I keep getting errors when I try to upload attachments. Anyone else??

Anyway...

OK this one is REALLY on the bench right now LOL. Anyone familiar with "SAGA" from Image Comics? This is a head sculpt of one of the main characters, Marko. I added a pic of the sculpt next to the cover of issue #1 for comparison. Marvel Legends scale.

Heh, I had Saga volumes 1 & 2 in my Amazon wish list for a while. The head looks good.

The new lid is drying, then it's just trim it up and it's good to go.

Dial Tone. I was going to use the Low Light radio, but it's waaaaay too small. I've got a radio sourced, I just have to get off my sorry ass and order it. The real issue is webbing. Any of the casters doing the Retaliation 3 pack Beachhead/Snake Eyes chest rig WITHOUT the two square pouches at the bottom?

I'll have to look at mine again. I'm under the distinct impression it wasn't possible to get them off without screwing up one of the pouches they're over.
I'd prefer an harness but can't think of any that are any good.

I cut the pouches off of a cast of that I got from TJ when I was making my Falcon custom (which I ended up using one with them on it anyway), and it's possible to do it without having to do any sculpting, but you just have to be careful and take your time. Mine turned out alright, but I felt like I needed to sculpt a little to make it look better where I cut them off and am just too lazy right now to do it.
