Yeah, the eyes aren't perfect, but I love the design of the face paint...looks exceptionally cool with the braided hair...
Probably will be. I'm thinking I need to find another head for the project this one belongs to, and make this head it's own thing.

I think I can shorten the torso connection up by a millimeter or two, but I may need to find another set of bloused trouser/boot legs and abandon the gaiters. The legs be looooong.
Agreed...it's unfortunate though cause I like them lowers...maybe cut the boot off, then slice a section of the trousers away then peg the boot back on?

I'm having a hell of a time painting the Leatherneck he sent me. It's the same head I painted for my LN, and it's probably one of the toughest I've had to paint due to how tight the brim of the hat is sculpted onto his brows/eyes. First round ended up in a paint fiasco where I had to strip the head of all the paint and start over, and it's not been easy this time around, apparently.
And, my WIP Recoil, who is almost done, just missing a few accessories.
I'm having a hell of a time painting the Leatherneck he sent me. It's the same head I painted for my LN, and it's probably one of the toughest I've had to paint due to how tight the brim of the hat is sculpted onto his brows/eyes. First round ended up in a paint fiasco where I had to strip the head of all the paint and start over, and it's not been easy this time around, apparently.

Yeah, it's Repeater. Fogger originally wanted me to paint the TJ casting of it as the NF head, but then decided to buy my NF set, haha. So he wanted to make him a little different. Eyes on all of them turned out good, they're all great sculpts.
The harness on Recoil is from Raginspoon. It's actually the reason I bought anything from him to begin with. Not sure who cobbled together the webgear but it's done really well. Good flexible rubber/plastic quality too. Head sculpt is from KREXX/Angelforge. I had that custom (fairly easy one, to be honest) planned since Slayer closed shop, and I preordered the head 2 years ago or longer. Finally came back at the Angelforge shop, so I got it and just now got around to painting the fucking thing. Nothing novel, but I really like it. I just need to find a 25th Falcon backpack with the radio for him.
Yesterday was a scorcher of a day, so I managed to get a lot of spray painting done outside.

The cylindrical thing on top is the magazine for the foam disc launcher. I think it's perfect as the ammo drum of an oversized CIWS-type system. Just gotta scratchbuild a rotary cannon to go with it.

YES! I knew there was proper potential for these damn things! Though I still like the idea of them as "autonomous" and not piloted.
