I think I'm about to get into a slap fight in that thread over yonder.

Well the vehicles are well worth the money!! :p

If I am going to drop that type of coin I am buying a new bird and not having it transform. Less stuff to break too. The figures I can kind of condone but still is a bit painful to think of a $20 figure.

Eh, it's foreign and limited production. I've seen (and paid) far worse.

The vehicles as yet just aren't my bag. I can honestly say at half the price I wouldn't be interested.

I feel the same way. I do plan on getting the figures and after I have them and my impressions will determine if I keep getting them.

The vehicles look really cool but they just aren't my thing.

Yeah imports are rather expensive. But KT, I'm keeping up with your conversation over there. The Spiderman comment was pretty much a end to whatever debate he was trying.

I thought it was a bit of an apples-oranges comparison. I mean, I get where he's coming from, but their are realities when it comes to plastic people that we can't overcome.

You guys should know by now, that on HT, everyone else's opinions matter more than yours (they're right, your wrong). Get with the program.

And the only military fig that would compete with these things btw, is the 118th fig. :D

And that's why it would be a big slap in HT face, if it were posted over there... you know, just as an example. :pirate:

This much is certain.

Also, Super Articulated Spiderman isn't proportionate in my opinion. He's got frog legs and a pea sized head. I would have bought multiples if not for that issue.

See....

What about the barricadeschlepper?

Laurel is kind of cool, though.

It looks like there will be variants: back cannon, dual mortar, and folding knife arm.

No word on the barricade beast.

Laurel confirms my suspicion that this series looks like it's inspired by Ashley Wood. That could be why the figures look goofy and gangly.

Love the mechs, but man I would loved to have seen someone step up and release a line of Titanfall toys...in 1:18 scale obviously.

The concept is pretty cool, but the designs just aren't that appealing.

Nice! I'm thinking variants even more based on the photo of their product journey. There's still a couple unknown vehicles and figures besides the ones we've seen. I'd guess that most if not all the figures will be based off the Sol Commander, just head and gear/vest swaps.

Unknown Vehicle, Soil Ghost (see below), ?, ?, ?, Sol Commander, Unknown Vehicle, Laurel 1, Laurel 2, Laurel 3, Speeder, Stronghold

I think all 4 of those figures are Soil Ghost variants. Really can't wait to see the mobile MG platform on the far left.

This toy line makes me want to quit graduate school and get a job. I need the money and I'm having second thoughts on this whole becoming a "master of public administration" thing. I fear I won't be able to buy Acid Rain stuff as a public servant.

Damn it...while not directly related and speaking of Lost Planet toys - Capcom announced that Lost Planet 3 underperformed and didn't sell as many copies as expected.

Hopefully that doesn't impact the toyline we saw last year.

I'm sure they will get cancelled then much like the Lone Ranger figs from NECA.

Edit: How wrong was I! Seeing the news on the Lost Planet 3 figures has brought some new hope.
