I was going to wait until the 1st of August to post something. However Major Blood brought out a great point that Slayer is having a sale right now and some of you guys may want to use some of their parts. You guys will be the first to see this as I will not post it to any other site until the 1st.
Tha rules:
1. Open to all FI1:18th members in good standing
2. Entries will be accepted from August 1st until August 31st @midnight PST
3. This is a thread for you guys to ask any questions, I will have a seperate thread for submissions(will go up on the 1st)
4. This is a 2 figure contest, one will be your custom zed and the other will be your hero or victim, a dio is not required but if you include one it will be judged as a whole
5. Multiple entries are allowed, only one will be used for judging
6. Any era of history can be used, you can even go to the future if you want
7. Photos; should be as clear as possible. Need to have 2 shots of each figure by themselves (a front shot and a back shot) and 2 "action" photos
I will judge and choose the 1st through 3rd place winners and contact them
After they have been notified the rest of the entries will be judged by you members for a peoples choice prize

Well my hobby shop hasnt restocked the colors I need to finish the zed. Here is the hero, need to do some touchups and get some dullcote on him. But this is basically what I am looking for on the individual pics at least 1 front and 1 back shot

K-T theres nothing in the rules that say the 1st place winner cant ask for the 2nd place prize.
Dave that would be freakin awesome of you and I cant wait to see what you cook up for this.
Eddie even if you had a hasbro zed viper at a minimum it would need to be painted to be considered for the contest

Zombies are the best for novice customizers, man you cant do it wrong, there zed heads, we should post some samples of some zombie customs already been done for examples.

Jfak from joecustoms, has a shit load of them made for his dio...matter of fact, he would love this contest.

It's really a parts issue. I was going WWII, as i already had an un-posted figure done. but i really don't want to do the WWII route.

So, that leaves me with a set of serviceable legs and feet, and some sundry accessories, with only a vague mental image of what i want to do. I could salvage the zombie if i had a good head, but i don't.

I didn't want to reuse it as i've got it in the Z.C.U., and the other is painted up for the Red Skull custom that will never materialize. It's a good head, though.

It's bad enough i took to cannibalizing my Nazi Zombie at all.
