Inspiration
The inspiration for The Archangel Michael Project came when my son had about a week straight of being afraid of the dark and nothing we did to comfort him was working. We tried talking him through it, we gave him a flashlight, we tried several different nightlights but none of these was working. Finally my wife told him to pray to the Archangel Michael for protection. Amazingly, this worked and mommy and daddy were able to get some sleep. However, the next morning he wanted to know all about this amazing archangel he’d learned about. So, I sat him down and showed him images of paintings and statues; I tried to explain his appearance based on scriptural depictions that I found online but he looked confused. As a sculptor, it is often easier for me to communicate through my work rather than to verbalize it, so I went to work. I wanted Michael to look incredible, so he needed to be highly articulated, have generous amounts of detail and of course awesome weapons, armor and wings. As a sculptor, toy designer and a professional with over 15 years experience in the toys and collectibles industry, I really wanted this action figure to rock so I put a lot of time, attention, passion and love for what I do into this project.

Specs
The Archangel Michael action figure is at a 7 inch or 1:12th scale, since he is described as being very tall he will be in scale with most other action figures from various other lines. He features some 30 points of articulation so he can get into just about any pose you wish. His wings are also articulated with both ball joints where they attach to Michael’s back and also pivoting joints to allow the wings to open to approximately 20â€￾ across when attached to the figure and extended. I’ve also outfitted the Archangel with a 10â€￾ spear, highly detailed shield and a flame sword, which we plan on casting in clear amber to give it the appearance of being on fire. As we move forward, with your help, I will be able to update you with images of the step-by-step progress, from early prototyping to paint scheme and ultimately when we reach our goal, the final production. We are also doing an exclusive to kickstarter, limited Archangel Michael in full figure amber so check out the rewards for more info.

Though my son inspired this figure, it isn’t intended for small children; there are small parts that could pose possible chocking hazards. So this is intended with the collector in mind.

Stretch Goal of $200,000- UNLOCK THE FIRST DEMON ACTION FIGURE!
You didn't think this was a stand alone figure, did you?! This Angel needs to fight some demons, and the first one up is a nasty one! Over 10 inches tall, this BEAST is a hulking adversary, pictures coming soon!
Instead of waiting for the next Kickstarter for this line, we can get him started right here right now, along side with the Archangel Michael figure!

Thank you so much for taking time to look and support!

It looks great, just wish I was into larger scaled toys. I think my only gripe is the length of the wings on the section where they attach to his back. It sticks out SO far. But, I also realize that the only way to fix that would be to add another joint in each wing which may not be feasible.
