Now that I've made those dual M3's, I'm thinking I may put those on board instead of the single M2's. After they're cast anyway.

Picture bomb!

Not sure about Copperhead's seating arrangements and whether I should leave the chair or make him stand.

I had wondered what would Copperhead use for weapons if he was piloting the Cottonmouth with no crew to operate the guns?

Why, he'd employ the latest in automatic defense weapons, such as this M247 .50 caliber Autocannon. Designed to look like, and inspire fear as, the famed weapon from Halo, this automatic weapon system is the perfect companion for both land and watercraft, employing state of the art multi-spectrum cameras, and the latest in IFF software, coupled with the accompanying radar system.

Copperhead will be able to cruise the Southern marshes in peace and relative safety with the M247 Autocannon scanning the waterways, identifying, and eliminating potential targets up to 1000 yards away.

Yeah, so I was bored and did this:

I think I'd like a long barrel attachment, but it's pretty solid as-is.

I think it would look better lower. I know strictly speaking that it wouldn't be on the gun's actual barrel, but you could get away with calling the barrel part of the gas impingement system or something of the like.

Lower? More centered? Probably. If I get this thing cast up maybe I'll mod a long barrel version of it.

I've decided to get rid of all the seating except for the bench I built there at the back. This way it can function as troop transport, gunboat, and cargo transport.

So I have a couple of those smoke grenade launchers off a junker LAV. Should I go ahead and mount them to this? And if so, should they be on the bow or the stern?

I think I'm also gonna add a 5th gun emplacement. I can't put it at the actual stern like a SOC-R because of the fans, but it will have one mounted at the rear of the bench, firing above and between the fans.

I think the final weapon count's gonna be the pair of dual M3's at the bow, an M134 and Mk19 mid-ship, and the m249 that Ult Roadblock came with at the stern position, with a pair of smoke grenade launchers.

Once I get the dual M3s back from AF, I'll throw some primer on this sucker at the very least, and get some new pictures done. But for now, here's one to give you an idea of the full layout.

Wonder what the likelihood of brass and links getting kicked/sucked into the fans is....

I think I'd ditch the 249 and use a 240B.

I was thinking I might throw some window screen material over that side of the fans. As for the 240b, maybe. That's the "Tunnel Rat" gun, right? I may have one around somewhere. If I find it, I may see which looks better.

Last update till the shields get back from Angelforge.

Used a light gray which gave it a nice ghostly feel to it, I think. Thankfully the picture doesn't show how shaky my painting skills are these days, the smoke grenade launchers look pretty shoddy, alas. A few stickers courtesy of random cobra vehicles, and now just need the guns and shields to complete things, plus a few other little odds and ends.
