Jesus slave-trading Christ! I just spent a good-ass chunk of time shooting mine. Damn, I spent more time on this shoot than I have for some of my comics. And the bugs made sure to bite the hell out of me, too. When I walked in, I realized that my hand and leg were bloody. Good times.

Rockin'. I have a few that I'm thinkin' about submitting, or at least having you guys look at so you can decide which one sucks least. Can I post more than one, like the Major?
Post whatever you want numbers. PCS usually picks the ones that can be used best unless we get a good amount of entries. Then we vote on what makes it and then vote on the banner. All this effin' red tape for a picture! 
Good. Looks like there is going to be some good competition this month coming up. I better go do something else for backup. I think Falcon might have the edge for what has been shown so far.

you can have mine, free, if you come and get it. I thought it was cool back in the day but its in a box and I have no intentions of letting it see the light of day again. Dumbest vehicle I ever got. BTW it does need a little tlc and 2 track covers or whatever they are.

The HAVOC would have made a great StarCom vehicle (if the freakin' turret was more than just a damn chair), but as a Joe vehicle? Shit was pretty retarded. And the boxart had Hawk COMPLETELY UNPROTECTED in that "hai guize shoot here lol" death-chair. The fuck?
Here's a WWII entry. By the way PCS the treads aren't floating, there's some chunks of concrete underneath that you can't see in the shadow.

Mobat, that reminds me.... I saw a real world one while sitting in traffic. Never had a clue a tracked vehicle that you stand on the back existed. Too bad my phone doesn't zoon worth a shit.
Alright, well I might as well post my shit. I wanted to go for something simple: the MOBAT in a grassy field, at night. I got bug bites all the fuck over, but at least I have these shots to show for it.
I don't like the lighting on this one, or the level of focus. It looks too much like someone just put a toy outside with a flashlight on it and snapped a shitty picture. Which is exactly what it is:
The next one's a little bit better, I guess:
And lastly, a real minimalist approach:

The 1st grows on you. At first I wasn't feeling it, but the more I look at it, I like it. The 2nd one is definitly the best of the 3. I really dig it. The 3rd one is cool but it's just so dark.
I like the first pic. I imagine it's right before they were unloaded on. Like a spotlight was just shone on them for the hunkered down enemy to fire.
I tried to make the second and third ones look more like ambient light rather than spotlighting, but that only led to them being too dark. Here are a couple more.
keep in mind of the site logo and dog tags. take a peak at the banner on the top of the site, you must remember to take the pics with them in mind.
Crap, good point, I'll have to edit mine since the tank's cannon would end up blocked. I done goofed.
Hey Numbers, those shots are awesome. I love that you used the MOBAT too! I'm gonna try the MOBAT, HAVOC and maybe even the TTT if I have some time this coming weekend...

I finally got my LAV (tan) but the damn thing didn't come with the gun (as seen in photo) but at least my joe's have a "saddle" horn to hold on to I guess...

Don't worry, I'm fixin' 'em up now! I brought the current header into Photoshopped so I'd have the border, the logo, and the tags show up so I can frame/resize/crop my photos as needed. I'll repost the fixed versions, without the header border/logo/tags soon.we all do that sometimes

I try to do as much stuff in-camera but I definitely extend backgrounds and such and do clean-up. No reason why it wouldn't be allowed, I don't think.
