Okay so this may be a long shot but I figure if anyone knows, it'll be this community.

So back in the day, I remember looking on Amazon and Small Joes at Modern Army 1/18 figs. And I remember stumbling upon a subset of figures that was designed around modern day terrorism and operatives and such. I think it was potentially a JSI set of figures? And I remember there being a Russian guy, an Arab and some sort of under cover operative.

Does this strike a chord with anyone?

do you mean the line that had the figure that is top left and bottom right. There was another Arab in the line too with removable hat. Star Wars geek has both their headcasts in his store. Unfortunately I am drawing a blank on the line's name. Think BBI made them?

This line? I remembered. 21st Century made them

Their was an operative of some sort, forget nationality, but don't remember a Russian. K-Tiger will remember them all for sure. Rick too, he uses that line a lot as well.

edit - found the other two

Ain't no 1:18 Russian that didn't come from Hasbro/the Club. JSI only released repaints of some of 21st's WWII figures. The only Arabs I recall that weren't from the IJ line were 21st's Eastern Warriors, and those have been well covered here.

Honestly, the description doesn't ring any bells. Maybe it was a Dusty Trails or Plan B line, or the recollection is just faulty. The Archivist may know something I don't.

You guys rock! Thank you! And any apologies for any profiling or stereotypes I had to commit to communicate my point. I would love to have some of these figures...now I just gotta find them.

The only figure that I've owned from this line was wayyy back in the day and I hardly remember it except for the fact that it came with a pair of non-articulated arms. It was a Ultimate Soldier XD WW2 Fig.

What do you guys think about the articulation on these figs?
