Can anyone think of a figure who had white legs and combat boots? I need white pants for a custom, but with boots rather than the RoC Storm Shadow-style lowers.

Don't think they exist in 25th format... Or else I'd have used them already. And boy, is white a pain in the ass to paint.

You could always just go with a lighter base figure?

Joerhyno,

I have seen the wheels from the John Deere Monster Tread toys sold at stores used as alternatives. I am using them on my 6 wheel MRAP(if I can find it again).

Anyone ever get around to casting the Winter Soldier SVD? I thought someone (probably Slaymaker) had sent one to Jesse for casting, but perhaps I'm mistaken. I sure could use another one, and would rather not have to go buy another WS for the rubbery gun.

And before anyone mentions it, the Marauder one sucks, so don't waste your time trying to make a case for it.

I have a bunch of the 1:18 scale versions that hasbro makes...ARAH and POC versions if you are interested.

A crappy representation of the cord for the radio?

I don't think so. The vest was originally used for the 30th IG and the Destro with the money, and neither of them had the radio as an accessory. The strip looks just like MOLLE webbing on the vest, or is at least sculpted the same way. The little loops at the bottom are what's really throwing me for a loop.

Looks like an Admin pocket/pouch, for important papers and/or maps.

Have one on my kit...

Cool! So, that answers part of my question. Any idea as to what that vertical strip to the left of it with the two loops at the bottom is? The strip is sculpted just like MOLLE webbing on the vest, but I'm clueless as to what the loops are.

By the way, I'm asking this as I'm using this vest for a RnR custom I'm piecing together.

Well... MOLLE pouches typically attach with vertical straps (behind the pouch), and the strap you're referring to looks like one of those. Why it's sitting there doing nothing is beyond me. Unless it's meant to be an extra strap for misc., hence the loop(s). But then I'd wonder why they put it there if it's not holding anything, ya know?

Could be a version of something like this -

Or better yet... look at the 2 para cord laces, compared to the vest pouch. Looks fairly close to the exact thing -

I know this may sound silly, but we used to have a length of paracord in a roll that we would keep on ourselves/packs/strapped to us.. This reminds me of it but why its up front I do not know.

550 cord is damn useful, nothing silly about that shit. Unless you where it as a bracelet.

That's probably cool. There are exceptions to just about every rule. :D

This is what it looked like to me, but I wasn't going to say anything till you guys did.

Has anyone else tried using the lower torso , arms and legs from the Our War figures with the upper body from a BBI figure? It was pretty simple and the results were very promising.

I did have to swap the shoulder joints from the Our War Figure with those from the BBI figure to make it work. the BBI shoulders are a little wider so i Dremeled them until they were the same thickness as the Our War shoulder joint and they popped right in. I also had to widen and deepen the hole(calm down Eddie:) ) where the lower torso plugs into the upper torso. The BBI Head can remain unchanged , but fr al intents an purposes of variety I am using the neck post from Retaliation Storm Shadow with the alternate head from the "Ultimate"Retaliation Duke for these pics. Just some food for thought.
