:fuckit:

I don't expect to see it, mind you, nor do I care now. I'm being realistic, and it's more or less water under the bridge.

I think I've bought most of the parts again from AngelForge anyway when they became available.

I will say, though, Dave has never been an ass to me, nor has Jesse, like some folks have claimed Alyosha does. Not that Aly has, to me, it's just the reputation. If folks are having personal or health issues, I'd rather never see the money or parts if it means making their situation worse, though.

I was just being sarcastic, I have no illusions that those figures will ever be made and shipped.

Planning what I want to mod on BR Catwoman once I have a second one. The skin tone needs to be a lot paler, and I'm thinking I can lose some of the odd cheerfulness once I redo the lips. I'm leaning towards giving her a "thousand yard stare" like my Joe nurse, but I'm not sure I can pull it off with the head being as small as it is.

After that I plan on making the stitching actually look like it, and I think I want to slap an MU hinged neck ball on her for good measure. Maybe hit up Vortious and give her some splayed claw hands?

Dam, those look great! And the guy with the beret...he reminds me of John Wayne!

So how did you connect the Joe legs to the BBi bodies?

Goddamn it, do you even read these forums?

You saw the pelvis off a Joe, the waist peg off of the BBi figure, and glue them together.

Working on a roof for the Combat Cruiser. Going to make it out of styrene but have to prototype with manila folders first.

It's 1:12-ish scale, but you guys dig troopers. First steps of creating my Alpha-17 ARC.

Looking forward to this project, one I might actually finish too. Using references from the comics, but also from Obi-Shinobi's and Ruprecht's work on 1:18 ARCs way back in the day.

Can't wait to scratch build that sick Westar M5 of his :D

Oooh, those were the days. Kinda miss it, especially since Hasbro has since made the newer Clone bodies. Now would be a great time to do some ARC stuff. But alas... I lost that bug.

Good luck on the ARC rifle! Look forward to seeing it.

Public school? No, I was raised by a band of wild chimps! I've learned that most problems fix themselves of you throw enough excrement at it.

I've posted the Jin Saotome tutorial and explained the process 3-4 times now.

Yes, you did.

Need some feedback, how do these tires look on the Ninja Combat Cruiser?

I did a quick photoshop with one tire to make it two to get the idea.

Here it is with the one tire without the rim so it sits where it should sit.

Here it is with the back tire with the rim still in it, with it sitting as close as possible(rim and plug keep it from going under the wheel well but close enough to get the idea).

You guys think these would work? too small, too thin? They're from the Hasbro Night Ops Humvee I had on the workbench for a good 5 years, lol.

Cloud,
That looks like a pretty accurate OD green on a SAW pouch. I'd run with that.

Well, forgive my ignorance, but I'm actually equipping him with an M240. So, I don't know if there's much of a difference between the pouches used between it and the M249 ammo pouches. The other alternative OD Green I'm contemplating is this one:

Not much. Standard SAW pouch hold 200rd box, while only 100rd box for 240. The BBI pouches you're using are definitely SAW box size.

Check out "Corba's" pouches. More of a 240 style from what I can tell.

Either one would work really.

it looks amazing cloudstrife... the gear, the camo, the r´n´r head. just get him a big gun:)

Thanks, man! Planning on giving him the M240, so definitely a realistic big gun for a machine gunner :)

Good deal. I'd hate to have to swap the pouches at this point, though I would for accuracy's sake if they weren't remotely close to what's used for M240 ammo pouches. Well, that or I'd say :fuckit: and give him a SAW instead.

I think you're mistaken. I think they're slightly oversized copies of whatever the modern equivalent to the M1956 Universal Small Arms Ammunition Pouch is. Of course, I 'spose that's what a 240 pouch could be.

I'm going on basic looks and sizes of said pouches, compared to the real versions. Could the one be a universal? Maybe, maybe not. Based on current gear pics though... I stand behind what I wrote.

Either way, it's not that big of a deal on Cloud's figure. Either pouch could be used for a 240.

Might pass as 100 round pouches, but certainly not 200 rounders. I yield, however, to your superior knowledge of post-Y2K gear.

I used those pouches on my M249 gunner recently. I thought about the Cobra ones, but remembered he wasn't in my possession at the time.

I went and looked at the photos of the original prototype. He was originally an M60E3 gunner, and the pouches look larger. Looks like I'm in the wrong.
