So this is where the RS project stands. I've not epoxied the peg to the Joe pelvis as I want to have everything sorted. I didn't want to, but I nicked the RoC Destro thighs I had set aside for my colonial German project. So far I'm fairly happy. I'm mainly not sold on the proportions. I'm thinking taking 2-4mm out off the bottom of the Viper legs would fix most of that. I'm also not happy with the forearms. I think a set of RoC Destro forearms would be better, but getting the ban stick at HT has put a cramp in my ability to source parts.

Hell yes you know I want feedback.

Calling a spade a spade. They excised anything I posted back to at least early July.

Anyway, I remembered I had some Star Wars dude I stole the head from, and his lower arms are a much better fit than the Renegades/DG Cobra Commander ones, so that's one issue resolved.

The figure that doesn't even look A: remotely done, and B: like Cobra Commander.

So, I've got a vintage Zandar to have to split open to replace a busted o-ring. Annoying thing is, the figure itself is in great condition. Anyone here had luck or any pointers? (Zartan, Zandar and Zarana all had fused together torsos despite having a back screw.)

I was able to drill out a stripped back screw last night on another figure, but splitting an ARAH torso is beyond my fingers' fear threshold.

Wasn't as bad as I feared, but not as easy as I'd hoped. The seam isn't perfect now (you can tell it's been split if you look closely) but I am going to try to sand it down a little smoother later, and maybe it'll go together. At worst, though, Zandar now has a complete body again with a new o-ring.

I got a Zandar torso if you need one. I have a complete Zandar for sure(I got him for the weapon and backpack for the 25th version), good condition. I think I have an extra upper torso with head and arms too. Yours if you need it.

What I meant was he didn't go back together flawlessly flush like before. (Since I had to cut the seam with an Xacto.) I got him to go back together, I'm just anal-retentive.

I actually bought his accessories for my 25th Zandar, too. I may just steal the gun back, if I can find the box I hid my Dreadnoks in, heh.

I ordered some parts to fix the few broken ones that I've discovered while fixing o-rings. Quick Kick had a broken crotch, and Buzzer actually had a mold flaw that left a huge hole in the front of his thigh. It doesn't look like damage either because it's smooth just like factory, just like a portion didn't fill in during production. So I've got those pieces and a few more on their way from eBay, along with a tower turret to help complete my friend's Terror Drome.

How the hell did you do that? And can't you just come back under a new name? lol

Well, they track IPs, and I get a feeling they watch other boards for banned member activity. Also, as soon as he had someone ship shit, they'd know his name and I'm sure at some point someone would tattle (It's HT after all). Plus, he lost his standing. Nobody's going to want to trade with a noob, especially one as much of a pain-in-the-ass as KT! :grumpy:

Lol,that's what PO Boxes are for, lol. And IP's can be changed using different devices&whatnot right? For example I'm using my phone right now,but I can just as easily use my wife's or one of my kids...there's guys I've traded with on HT that I'm pretty much positive they've given me an alias...

I prolly shouldn't be hanging out with y'all then? lol.

Who goes to all that effort to do the occasional trade for toy parts? You know what, nevermind. I don't want to know. HT wasn't that great a resource, marginally better than here, perhaps, but not great.

Typical toy trader shit, actually. When you found a part you actually needed the person you were dealing with tended to think they had gold bullion or some shit.

Der Führer needs fewer medals, and I don't think the aiguillette should be present at all. I know, commission and all that. Just sayin.

Red Skull tick-tocks along. Base painting is done, and once I give that a day or two to cure up I'll tackle the shoulder board, aiguillette, awards and the SD rhombus I plan on adding.

I haven't decided on his ascot/cravat color. I'm thinking an SA brown one would be different from most people's, but not sure if that would jive with an SD branch SS-Standartenführer. I'm also working on the Kroenen head sculpt I got from SWG. I figured there was no point of having a 99% figure waiting on a head when I've got one that is subject-compatible.

I think the proportions look just fine, man...forearms don't look bad either, but I'm not sure what the RoC Destro ones look like...they might be better for all I know...

I went with a Star Wars set and I'm pretty happy with them, though I do wonder how well the Dragon cuff title is gonna stick to it.

On my bench, I finally got around to molding up the Voodoo Doctor kit. The first casts were pulled today and they look so awesome, I had to start painting a set. Jason did an AMAZING job on the sculpt of these parts.

Thanks. They will be in my store as soon as I'm sure the coffin mold is good. I'll probably do them on a make to order basis instead of having them in hand due to how many parts and how big they are. Jason is the sculptor.

Turned out pretty sweet looking Dave, Where will this be available and who's Jason?

Jason is that guy who used to run around the woods, wearing a hockey mask and killing all of the camping teenagers... because they were having too much fun or something.

I think Jason may have been the guy that sculpted that awesome Samurai helmet/head that Slayer had (I'm still looking for that one). Also excellent cast work, SWG!
