Do you have a pic of the Slayer item? I have a ton of Slayer stuff in my shop. And yes, he did some work for Slayer. He did the two monster heads that I have, the one I used for my Ba'al and the other, tall head. Unfortunately, he never kept records of what he made, otherwise I would more than likely be able to continue making copies of them, as he is allowing me to keep the monsters available.

After taking a Dremel to the top hat and frock coat I may be able to pull off a Sugar Hill Baron Samedi.

RS keeps on trucking. His collar tabs and 1914 EK II ribbon in particular gave me fits of blind rage, but I got them done. Up next is his shoulder board, aiguillette, brassard and SD rhombus.

Then I can assemble him, and, ya know, post pics.

Nothing major, but got through some more vintage Joes for my buddy. Swapped out the O-rings, and I've ordered some spare parts to help fix the few busted crotches and missing accessories.

Come to find out his damn Fridge has two right arms. WTF, they even made those factory screw-ups back then. That's two factory errors I've run across from his otherwise fairly mint collection, and I don't recall a single goof-up like that from any of my vintage figures.

Statistically there should be even more factory errors across the vintage run.

I know, I've just never seen them. And I had quite a few vintage Joes. I mean, my buddy has plenty more than I did, so maybe he just had a higher chance?

It's annoying that one of them is Fridge though. I can't believe he never caught the double right arm.

I don't think I've ever seen a vintage production error, truth be told. I guess they were tighter with QC in Hong Kong 30 years ago.

The only thing I've found in his lot of 100+ Joes is the Fridge's double-right-arm issue, Buzzer had a lump missing from the front of one of his thighs (it looked like the mold didn't fill in with plastic, but it got a warpy paint job due to it) and one or two figures had some hands with really long sprue bits that were painted (and look like deformities) but for the most part, they're pretty well done for a mass-produced, 30-year-old toy.

Does it look like his back screw was removed at one point?

Sometimes they look a bit roughed up or the edges of the "plus sign" on the head are kinda rounded off if the screwdriver slipped...

I have had thousands of vintage figures go through my possession. I've only seen 3 factory errors, and all were missing paint applications. If you ever get a chance to read internal Hasbro letters, they were extremely strict will the quality control of the vintage line.

Yes,I have. Not toy related tho,car related..I put an engine in a truck that I was told was a good running engine,...started it up,and didn't have oil pressure..the cam bearings where wiped out..had to take the truck back apart, and put yet another engine in it. Never was feeling the truck to begin with, and bought it out of lack of choices...ended up selling it almost immediately after completion instead of driving it for a few months like I normally do.

Ask my tray of unlikely-to-be-finished customs. SOG Low Light, WWII Captain America and Colonial Kraut amongst them.

What he said!

Yup. They usually remain unfinished, too. That's all my projects right now till my work schedule calms down. Also, I need Jesse to ship my shit!

(Also, this is how quoting works.)

See how that works?
