Hey man, In my experience, the stuff they sell from China (Action figures wise) is most likely a load of stolen stuff from the chinese factories..

I imagine in this case they over produced the steel brigade figure, and didnt have enough VAMPs to use them all so a massive box of them went onto a shelf somewhere and forgotten about for 4 years.. then someone opened it and thought shit I could make some serious money here! and either stole it or bought it for a nominal fee..

Thats what I am hoping anyway! I've never received fakes of any figures bought at these low prices from Asian sellers

I've bought over 150 in the last week...and I'm still involved in the feeding frenzy and will be till his supply is depleted...if he lists them in a mass bin I'll wipe it out too... I already had almost 200 prior to them being dropped..

I've gotten over half of what's been listed so,they'll still be rare

I've also already received over 20,and they are slightly different from the ones that came in the vamps..they're all missing paint apps on their vests,more specifically the buttons aren't painted...I've bought from all three china sellers too.

Sindolls&fwtzw...some shit are the same guy..I got three packages of them in one day from both sellers,and both had the same origin point,and same name on the customs sheet/label.

Sbd is only one of the figures I've been hoarding...that's why I wanna stop! The only limit up until now has been supply. I have no financial barrier,so I can go as long as they can supply them. I've been hoarding the red ones too. I have almost 100 of those now too..I had banned myself from single carded figures,cause it's too easy..now sbd has become that way...I stopped collecting trucks,because I started running out of places to store th all,and 2 of my houses look like used car lots according to my wife..now these fucking toys!! I gotta change hobbies soon!

Idk how much I've spent on them... I'm really not sure ,several grand? lol. I'm into several things,so I buy a bunch of stuff all the time,and don't really keep track...still nothing compared to other collectors. There's collectors with one item worth more then my entire collection.

I've been curious about the recent abundance of the SBDs on eBay but I have been holding out. I finally bought 3 @ $12.99 each w/ free shipping. I'll be interested to see if they are what was advertised when they arrive.

They are,I've already received several. You gotta know what your looking at tho! they're ALL missing the paint apps on their vests...more specifically the buttons aren't painted,BUT a lot of the later SBD(packaged with the dark green vamp) are missing it too..

The main thing you want to look for on sbd is the right upper/inner leg....I've come across several,even out of retail vamps with 2 left inners..causes them to stand funny,and the leg to be loose.

Each drawer has the ability to hold 12 rows of 9 figures. The 3rd drawer I just started,and also contains my steel brigade fodder..I have several incomplete figures I've traded for/bought for parts&whatnot. There's a common defect in these figures. I've purchased several that had 2 left inner legs,2 of which came straight out of a sealed vamp.so replacement parts where necessary.two of my sbd have knife sheaths missing on their vests,one has both missing,one is only missing the front.at least 10 are missing their original stand.I have at least 100 file cards in the drawer top right,two large ziplocks with nothing but their rifles,and one of just those grey knives..I have no vamps btw. I don't like hasbro vehicles my son has at least a half dozen. It's hard to say exactly,cause he tends to lose the wheels..lol

Thread summary: steel brigade deltas aren't rare,they never where rare,even before china unloaded!

they're sought after figures,and will remain that way until hasbro changes the construction of the line. Why? Because they're shocktrooper repaints wearing a beachhead vest! He was practically made to be a fodder figure!! They are also one of most realistically military colored figures in the entire line,a line where realistic coloring is a rarity. They're a nameless faceless army builder that isn't a cobra figure..

Why do I hoard them? It's the first figure I saw in the store that grabbed me in over 20years of being "too old for toys",SBD made me pick up the vamp box while at Walmart looking for littlest pet shop figures for my kids...my wife stopped me from buying it then tho. I got one for my son later,then got myself one,then a loose figure,then another,and a few more..you all know how that works. SBD was MY first ME joe,bought for me,by me...he's special to me!! Is it ridiculous? yes. So is collecting toys in your 30's. Is what I paid important? No. Is what y'all paid for your collections or toys in general important? If it is you shouldn't be collecting...cause it's a lose/lose.And your not doing it right,cause it's supposed to be fun.

I bought 3 from the same guy. I received a message saying mine shipped, but wouldn't get here until sometime between November 13 and December 18. I'm not too worried about missing parts as i'm going to customize the five I have anyway. Just nice to have them all the same base color for a squad.
