Wrong color altogether. Might be passable for greenhouse windows on a helo, though.

I'd assume so? I dunno. I glued on cardboard for the hillbilly uparmor kit I did a while back.

I guess it depends on what model you're going for. The newer pre-built ones would probably take a LOT of work, but if you're going for a retrofitted look it could be easier I'd guess.

I've said many times Pick, you are the king of scratch building so there is not any competition at all. I have always treated your name with the utmost respect here and where ever I see your stuff. My stuff will be a little cheaper and not as detailed as yours....always has been. Everyone here knows this.

I just want a kit I can bolt (or.. err, glue) on and be good to go. Casted in tan would be awesome.

The less piecemeal the better.

Well I stopped using tan resin quite some time ago. The white that I use is far superior to the tan in my opinion. The white is not as soft.

For a armored upgrade you need to change the following which I intend to make.

New roof
New doors
New armored side panels
Left side A/C vent
New grille for the 21st Humvee
Newer style turret and shield with ballistic glass

Not so much an armor upgrade but I will also make the following.

Front push bumper
Misc. aerials
And if there is interest rear spare tire.

Is anybody interested in the high glass that fits around the turret ?

Or the over head protector plate with glass window panes ?

This is how the mods will turn out except I will be going with the later style doors.

Not liking the tall safari style. I do like the spare tire. I'd like to put spares on all my Humvees and LAV-25s.

Detachable ones!

I dunno, but it'd be nice to have a set where you could mix and match depending on the loadout you want to represent.

It's been too long I don't remember what's what.

Personally I'd prefer early 2000's Afghan/Iraq war type antennas as well as current if possible.

OK here are a few arrays . It looks like defferent antennas for different jobs obviously.
I am not sure they combined them.

As Odd Ball said in Kelly's Heroes " I just drive them, I do not know how they work "

Well it has taken over a year but I think that I am closer to checking off everything on the wish list.

Upgraded turret ----done
antennas-------------done
Rhino II device------95 %
Smoke dischargers ----done.
IBIS front bumper ---95 %
Armored doors--------95 %
Spare tire and holder ---done
A/ C vents----------------done

Did I miss anything ?

Is there a desire still for the ambulance box ?

The ambulance box would be awesome, but I assume quite pricey...?

What do you call pricey ?

Other than $10 how much would you all be willing to pay for the ambulance box mod ?

In order to keep the price down I could make it into a flat kit keep the interior simple just the supported cots opening doors and flip out stairs .

A spare tire, or set of tires that are solid would be sweet !
I'd be willing to pony up for Ambulance too.

Oh you'll never hear me swinging around to the seller how much I'm willing to pay for something. That's not how it's done. :D You tell me how much you want for it, and I'll let you know if that's exceptable. ;)

Wait, scratch all that. I'll give ya ten bucks for it...what's your counter? :D

My estimated price will be between $60 and $80

Regardless of price there does not seem to be a lot of interest.

So there was no interest in a MATV ? I would pay for one up front if you wer to build it, or just commision one or two I guess, then an AAV7 next year, not sure about your time, but I would definarely be interested in a custom comsion pickehaube, pm me if this is possible.
Who wouldn't want this sick ass beast ??

Digler did a couple, and while not as technically accurate as pickel's would be they are quite well done. Then there's the fact that Merit has a kit coming in 1:16, which is close enough for most.

Quit trying to distract him from the Hind project, goddammit.

LOL, Ya your right, didn't mean to distract, Diglers are cool but I didn't know he was selling them, and well yes I'm a stickler for detail, I could build my own but time is not on my side, so many jobs, it's easyer for me to just buy one, I have a 1/6 scratch built Sherman just sitting in the garage, 80 % done, but when or "will" the Merit kit be available ? Who knows.
