I like the blind bag figures, but they are a tad expensive.

I agree with you on the building sets...very little play value for the price. My oldest son asked for the Daryl set for his birthday, and while it looks great, it's all static.

'Wok sent me one for SS. Turned out to be the male walker. I wasn't impressed. Typical McFarlane half-stepping. Not that this type of thing is my bag in the first place.

I probably would have been happy if had been Sophia.

McFarlane has this knack of ignoring what people actually want and make things that HE wants. The market demands 4" figures, he makes 6-8".

The building block market is a hot commodity right now, he gets into the fray and makes mini unaction figures with snapable base plates.

I do want the governor's room with the heads in the tanks, but the price is a big turn off. Hopefully TRU has a BOGO sale on them sometime soon.

He's not even doing 1:12 figures. That would make some sense, as lots of collector figures are still in that scale. All his lines are in this weird 5" scale. My fucking Kenner T2 endoskeleton towers over his current figures. Think about that shit.

To add to the overall lameness of these mini figures, they too are incompatible with any of the competition. Don't work with Kre-o or Lego. They don't work with Mega Blocks, hell, I'm surprised they work with themselves.

which is why I don't understand why he is marketing these as building blocks as well as in the LEGO/Mega Blok aisle. They should be in the action figure aisles.

For someone who loves actions figures and has the right licenses, sure doesn't know dick about marketing.

The figs are a little crappy, but I do think these sets are really cool to look at. I have all of them, but my Michonne (favorite character since the comics) came with the wrong crotch piece and it drives me crazy! If anyone has an extra Michonne, I have stuff to trade for her, even just her crotch...does that sound too serial killer-y?

I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger on the Prison Tower set along with the figure 5-pack and blind bag singles. The prices seem fair with the current 30% off sale that TRU is running. I'm not a huge fan of the pre-posed figures, but this line is easily the most feasible way to get a prison diorama in my collection.

I collect "little green army men" sized figures, so these are right up my alley...but at $3 a piece??? Plus I'd have to super glue them together or risk having them break apart in my storage bin.

Hasn't come apart yet. I think I tried to pull the head off and it gave me the business. Granted, I haven't bothered with the figure much.

Yeah, you have to put them together, but they don't seem to want to come apart unbidden.
