I'm actually kind of pissed at a few of those stretch goals, seeing as they're things we actually need in 1:18.

Oh, and someone should tell them that they have an RPD pictured for the PKM listing.

I've bitched about a number of those for years. Ah, well. I don't have any figures in the scale that need guns, and if I were to buy a Figma I'd be more likely to pay the cash for the Japanese 1:12 weapons.

I'm surprised KS is allowing them to run another campaign when the last one has not been completed yet. They normally only allow one at a time.

I was building an MK12, but it got lost in the shuffle when I rearranged some of the things I was working on.

How much demand is there for this really? Are there a lot of 1:12th military type figures I'm unaware of?

Nope, only 1:12 military I can recall are Plan B's and McFarlane's, and those are ancient. I'm not sure, I'd assume it's ML collectors looking to upgrade their Punisher and Deadpool load-outs.

I'm sure a few Figma collectors will be interested, maybe there are some DC figures besides Deathstroke that need hardware? Some are speculating MJ had an inside tract on info and that this is a sure sign of a 1:12 Joe line. More likely a scaled-up Marauder figure.

Yeah, if there isn't a new 1:12th military line on the way that we are unaware of yet, this doesn't seem there would be enough support for it. And even if there is a 1:12th JOE and/or MGRs line on the way, doing this before anyone knows about it is kinda stupid. I think you'd get more support if there was something for this to go with first, aside from the existing handful of figures.

Who knows. Maybe this'll blow away all expectations like their first kickstarter. *shrugs*

Yeah, it's a bit of a mystery to me.

If they unlock a couple of the stretch goals I'm interested in I may take the plunge on Figma and the Little Armory gloved hands so I have a reason to buy something from MJ.

Another thing that puzzles me is why they propose to do a C96 in the WWII set.

Blah, they haven't even launched a KS for those.

They need to be careful though. Their ninja is an exact copy of Ren Storm Shadow.

Which is a copy of every Hollywood ninja from 1978-1995. All their designs are generic as hell.

True, but they would play nice if either of them get funded...

Oh, they'll get funded. I guess what irritates me is that 1:18 is my scale of interest, and since Marauder is just about the only producer of 1:18 weapons, I've got to wait for him to do this or that weapon. Now he comes out and says were gonna do 1:12 weapons just because, and a bunch of them are weapons we sorely need in a 1:18.
Eh, Fuck 1:12.

I went and looked around. I see what you mean. Something about the way their posts read makes me think these will be vaporware.

Just not lighting my fire. I'm far more interested in some of the stretch items than I am the main offerings. It also doesn't help that I just dropped a Benji on some of the japanese 1:12 weapons. I'm with KT, if a bunch of the stretch goals get hit, I might bite, but otherwise I'll sit tight.
