I don't understand. Why are most of the desert operations figures bright blue? I know they're Cobra but it's still weird. Then there are the "Sneak Attack" figures. I like that they're updating Bazooka, but he's wearing bright blue, like a lot of the Cobra operatives in general, so like with Shock Wave, friendly fire is to be expected. If they're going to release someone as goofy as Bazooka they should at least update the headsculpt to have the proper kickass mustache from the TV show. Just a personal ARAH fan quirk of mine.
Also, Blowtorch and Crock Master again? Why? What happened to the army builder philosophy? I see a lot of army buildable figures in this line, but a lot of them are in three and two packs (or box sets) with non army buildable figures. Between weird color choices for certain characters, weird character choices, and the continuation of the multi-pack system which I dread, I'm already seeing problems.
With all that said, there is some stuff that I would want, but if last year's line up of shoddy paint work and plastic quality coupled with Toys R Us prices are any indication of what to expect, then I think now may be a good time to take a break from G.I. Joe and focus on video games and porn instead. I don't want to waste the cash on shipping, or gas to drive 75 miles to the nearest Toys R Us, just for figures who look like their eyes are melting and feel like they're made of cheap crappy rubber chew toy plastic that is going to waste precious shelf space in my home.
