Ordered this on eBay over a month ago for the legs.
I guess the guy forgot? I messaged him for an update,and he became all apologetic,2 day mailed it,and refunded me..cool!
Anyways,I'm going to make a convention Daina with the parts,prolly gone the sword to my ninja resolute scarlett based figure..Daina body wise those legs where the last piece of the puzzle...I still need the belt,harness,chest knife&helmet.
Anyone have that stuff? know anywhere to get casts? Or have a cast I can borrow?
Also made a bunch of these to paint on the after work to kill time

There is no way in hell I'd even attempt to take a Daina apart! there's too much risk marking her legs,or damaging the camo! That figure is touching the $200 mark on ebay,if not passing it by now!
I would like to copy her helmet,but I'd rather copy the SW version just cause it's easier to replace if something goes wrong with shipping,or whatever...

I would have to do some serious looking, but I know I have that helmet. I have that harness too.
I certainly wouldn't want her torso popped, but I'm not worried about much else. If you think there's too much risk involved (I've never done any casting...as much as I want too) then I guess I'll take your word for it.
I think it involves gluing "sprue" guides or air tunnels to it by gluing toothpicks or something, if I'm not mistaken.
Doesn't the 50th Snake Eyes use the same legs just with different knees?

I don't cast like anyone else in Joe/marvel casting anymore including Dennis tho,I use micro breakaway sprues I learned from the Mech/scale model community,but the chance of leaving a mark on the stock part just taking it apart is my fear when dealing with high dollar figures...they're not exactly top quality anymore.

Lemme know man! I have some cadts premade for trading purposes,just please nothing articulated! lol. It takes 24hours for the joints to cure,and then if there's a flaw in a part I gotta rerun both molds,..it's just a pain in the dick,and I haven't had time to make stuff for myself,let alone stuff others have asked for due to me being home only one day a week.
I do have pretty much every female torso,tons of heads,pretty much all the female legs,Joe trooper torsos,...BBi helmets,stuff like that.
I already have her complete body&head anyways,but yeah,..Id be afraid to touch her,mail her,anything...she's just to valuable of a figure to risk the mail imo...I seriously appreciate it tho! I was,and still am blown away by the offer! I mean,wow!
Shrinking heads...here's step 1
I shrink the molds,not what comes out of the molds,so they have to be cast prior to shrinking so the novocs solvent doesn't ruin the originals. I've already made a shrinking mold of these,it's all about waiting now. TWD figures will get one cycle,the marvel 6" will get 2...I have several 6" marvel heads that have already been shrunk once,so the unmasked deadpool will be added to those for it's final run.
Should have some neat pics to post next weekend! Thanks again KT!

Oh yeah! I can't wait to see her painted with more skilled hands then factory too! so much was lost to the factory paint imo.
Retaliation wave 1 Roadblock torso, upper arms & upper legs, Retaliation Ultimate Roadblock lower arms and Renegades Amazon Duke lower legs (..or Renegades Cobra Trooper lower legs)! Still in progress!

Yeah, that worked. I think that extra long RB torso doesn't work too well with that shorter leg combo.
It looks okay to me! What I'm trying to figure out is how to hide the knee joint better when the figure is standing straight up! -I might have to do more dremeling! The Renegades Duke knee pads will not work for this custom; so the knee pad peg will probably be dremeled completely off!

I decided to open up my Night Creeper Leader tonight. What a shit figure due to that stupid ass hairline/black skull paint, but the parts are halfway decent.
I cobbled together a quick kitbash of the 2015 Arctic Mindbender and the NCL to make a halfway decent Mindbender. Using a ROC CC coat as a black cape and the DOCI Mindbender webgear, it may not make a half-bad kitbash. The purple's not even that far off, but if I decide to go for it, I'll repaint the pants to match the Mindbender legs, and paint the inside of the coat, and figure out something for lower arms after removing that stupid arm tattoo.
I'm waiting to hear back from MW whether or not he's still looking to sell his spare NCL from FSS3. I will try and snap a pic to post.

Obviously I just took a screwdriver to it and did minimal parts swaps, so nothing's permanent nor exactly "right" but it should give an idea.
The head needs lowering on that neck and repainting (fleshtone matches pretty well though), and while I have 2 Mindbenders, I don't particularly wanna go cutting up that figure, so I may wait and get a cast of the head and repaint it myself. To be honest, I don't like how they painted his eyes/brows/monocle anyway.
I'd paint the inside of the coat, remove the Cobra sigil, take off the silly tat on his arm, and probably either cut off the lower arms at the wraps and find new lowers, or paint the wraps black and glue some sort of wrist guards onto the outside of the arms. Obviously, he needs new hands, but those flesh hands would go well on other figures so it's a good part leftover. I'd also want to minimize that chest scar and paint the crotch to match the legs, and maybe consider new lower legs/knees, to be honest.
The webgear needs modding so the "suspender" part isn't so crooked, and I'd repaint it to be more silver like the cartoon. I also have one of those Cobra sigil-cape-clasp things from some ME version of Cobra Commander I'd like to put on him, to get the look of the cartoon, as well.

The irony is that I used a AOCI Mindbender like 4-5 years ago to make my NCL.

I'd suggest trying to match the purple first. There's no color I've found more impossible to match than purple. No point in doing anything else if you can't match it. Unless you paint the entirety of the legs.

Thanks again to KT for letting me borrow these! I'm gonna try to run a few more masters out of it right now,cause the pony tail broke off on Andrea coming out the mold,and I glued it back on..but if I can pull more copies from it thats be great! I'd like to add the Joe hole before recasting them!

After KT is tapped I need the rest of the characters fellas! The return is one fullsize copy,and two 1:18 copies OR one 1:18 copy,and one copy of a different TWD head I already have shrank.
