I recently received this VAMP from my brother for parts, since my nephews had destroyed it, lol. It was missing a tire and most of its accessories. So I decided make a VAMP based on Special Operations HMMWV Ground Mobility Vehicle (GMV). I started on it this afternoon, still alot to do but just wanted to share.

Dude, this is some impressive shit right here! I've never heard of this shrunken heads thing until I saw some of the heads that you have shrunk down to G.I. Joe scale! Now you have me thinking about all those fantastic heads from six to eight figures that could be shrunk down!
Anything can be shrunk,it's possible to enlarge heads as well! Although you get into a detail issue..shrinking larger scale heads is better at times then using normal 4" figure heads,because the larger scale heads are usually far more detailed,and usually better actor likenesses as well. The opposite is usually true with enlarging smaller scale,..lack of detail,less likeness to an actor/actress.
All&all its a pain in the ass tho. There's a learning curb. Each scale has a trial&error period to find the correct amount of shrink,and just like 1:18 figires there's always those heads that seem to be in their own scale in a line,that are bigger or smaller then others..getting them all in the same size at the end sucks. I'm actually still in the practicing stage..figuring all this shit out!

For the most part KT your right. There really isn't all that much to the actual body on these 6" figures over what we're used to in 4" detail or sculpt wise. Although a few like black widow are impressively sculpted,far beyond the 4" version.
Damn, I was just thinking that Marvel Legends Baf Terrax Series Captain America Steve Rogers head might make a great modern era P.O.C/ Ulitmate style Duke head once shrunken down!

I'm really into the high detail of the Macfarlane TWD figures. These sculpts shrunk down blow even hasbro's actor likeness sculpts out of the water! The hair alone is just bad ass by itself! The only thing I've seen close so far is 6" movie BW when shrunk. I FINALLY got the scale right yesterday,and it makes the standard 4" head look like straight garbage side by side! I'll post up some pics this weekend..I shrunk the whole motherfuckin figure damn near too! the torso is just sick compared to the 4"! Now I gotta tool it to accept some limbs,and I'm golden. Prolly the best thing I've shrunk to date.

Ruben and I were messing around with the MTF figures and this happened.
The leg harness doesn't fit and it's not entirely accurate, but there's a simple solution right there.

I didn't get mine from his store,I got mine in a cast for cast trade...he was super fast! Days in my case,and comes highly recommended on this forum,as well as others im sure. His heads are premium original head sculpts too,so you gotta take that in account when purchasing too. they're not you $3 copy of some pirated hasbro sculpt,lol. They're digitally rendered realistic sculpts that are exclusive to him,and him alone.
