I thought you guys might find this interesting, even though it's not toy related:

I had two granduncles in the Luftwaffe, one was shot down over Russia, the other survived, and when I finally got to meet him, he told me many stories like this, about how much of the German military disliked Hitler. And how the Wehrmacht, and especially the Luftwaffe, really tried to fight with honor when they could. The code they had of never shooting at parachutes:
This quote is indeed true, as my own Grand Uncle told me the very exact same thing, many years ago. That shooting at parachutes was strictly forbidden, and that the Allied pilots returned the favor.
A lot of people like to forget that most German Military were NOT members of the Nazi party, like many soldiers in the old Soviet Union were not hard line communists. There was a mandatory draft, you went to fight, or else. And you really didn't want the or else !.
This is an amazing story, and I really do hope they make a movie about this.

I'm reading the book now and it is incredible, it gives you a whole new perspective how honorable German pilots were. One of his commanders told him if he ever heard or seen him shooting down an enemy in a parachute he would shoot him down himself, and I believe that's why in The interview he mentioned if he would've shut down that plane he would've felt as if he was shooting somebody in a parachute
