Hey yall!!! Damn---I was going to take my pics this weekend!!! Maybe next time!!!
IMOHO---7 and 8 are the two to pick from!!! 7 is areally good pic with the armor in the background, the rubble in the street, buildings, and the goodguys runnin' around!!! The thing I aint crazy about is the chick!!! If it was another figure like the others it would be hands down my fav-o-rite dio pick of the lot!!!

8 is just a Bad-Ass dio from the get-go!!! I love how the armor is really apart of the story by punchin' a hole in the wall!!! Hell the wall is bad-ass too!!! I love how it looks like sheetrock on the inside too!!! The thing Im not to crazy about is the posein' of the badguys!!! A minor thing but one of the many things I look at in a dio!!!

They are both great looking dios and both members did a hellva good job makein' them happend---especially EDDIE!!! I think he has came along way from his 1st dios he had posted!!! They both would look great as a banner but Im not sure which 1 I like the best---I think Im going to have to think about this vote a little more!!!;)---RED---

Agreed Red, Rick's super crisp photo and magical figure poses is the difference in this competition. He really took it to the next level. Sucks Eddie because your environment and customs are great.


Rick, did you get a new camera or lense?

Yeah, the Na'vi-sized bitch 86ed #7 for me, and the H.I.S.S. in # 8 did the same. Sorry, Eddie, no matter how good a custom job it is, it's still a H.I.S.S. ;)

some really nice shots in the mix. I voted for 7 because I liked the dynamic feel of the figure posing and the F118 logo would work on the left and not interfere with the action.

No photoshop either, just camera, lighting, setup and my eye. ;)

Went with #8. There's enough room on the brick wall for the logo.

Goddamn, I never thought mine would get so many votes, when there are so many good ones to choose from. Eddie's, for one, is fantastic with all the little details that bring it to life (HISS or no HISS) :D. The WW2 theme of Rick's is a breath of fresh air amongst the modern and fantasy military we usually see.

Just so everyone knows: The "giant chick" Agent Spyral isn't really tall (she's just a Resolute Scarlett) - it's just the posing and camera angle that makes her appear so big.

I achieved her "running" pose by sticking a small screw through the cork street from underneath and into the peg hole on her foot.

Eddie's didn't have real armor. :p It was executed nice but the action on 7 was what really sold me. I was going to vote for myself out of pity. :D

I apologize Rick and Fled, somewhere during the process of arranging the banners I got the pics confused and thought that was Rick's entry. Guess I'm so use to seeing that Bradley desert Dukes and town used by Rick. That's why I was asking about the camera. :eek:

Great job Fled, we've never had more than a 4 or 5 vote difference.

What a shitty mod, how'd I completely miss the vote?

Maybe cause I had to work last minute all weekend. Grr.

Anyways, congrats. I had no idea which one I'd pick anyways. In fact, the only one that I didn't think was header-worthy was #1, just because of the lighting. it got a little muddy and monotone, and was a tad too dark. Also, the compression of the image seemed a little splotchy too. Cool posing, it just got lost in the light (or lack thereof).

The rest were pretty solid... Maybe not all ones that would make my top 5 picks, but still really great regardless.

Congrats! She does look super-Amazon, but I can see how it'd be an optical illusion.

I don't know about you guys but that dio reminds me of Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull starring Cate Blanchett. A more modern version of course.

To have my work mistaken for Rick's is the ultimate compliment. His (and Falcon C's) setups and photos were what inspired me to start doing dios.
Also, if it weren't for Rick, I wouldn't have known about this forum.
